Staff were wonderful. Truly genuine people wanting guests to have an amazing time in Cabo. The place was clean. Location is convenient to so many places and things to do. Excellent for that. The area felt safe for walking around, even after dark. Many good local restaurants within a few blocks as well as the busy, tourist places at the harbor.
Things to be prepared for. The top floor rooms are beautiful, but not entirely walled. Meaning, curtains are the thing between you and the rest of the hotel public areas. At night if the lights are on inside, you can see what’s happening in the room from the street. Still, it’s so pretty and spacious it’s hard to complain. Just be prepared. If you’re looking for traditional hotel rooms, this isn’t your place. If you want a local and traveler vibe, you’ll love it.
Water pressure is not consistent. Be prepared to play, will I have enough water to shower? Will the shower stay on the whole time?
There’s mosquito netting because it’s not actually a room - use it or be eaten up overnight.
Without walls be prepared to be woken up by traffic, bells, loud music, and motorcycles. There’s a lot of street noise in the area, late into the night and starting at dawn. I was tired enough each night to sleep, but if you’re a light sleeper you might need earplugs.
Water is not potable. Bring a filter or life straw or buy bottled water. Walmart supercenter and many groceries are within a short walk.
Overall it’s a great value for the price.
