The room was nice but there was a residence upstairs and was very noisy. They were load goin up the stairs and it sounded like they were moving furniture at 12:30 AM. When we asked to be moved to another room the front desk staff was less than helpful and did not even look to see if another room was available. After discussing the issue they were able to move us but we had to stay in our same room another night. Again very noisy at 12:30 AM when they came in upstairs.
Once moved the room was quieter but the hotels dogs like to bark in the middle of the night right out side our room. Asking the front desk for an extra blanket was a major task and was ignored. Three trips to the front desk and he finally went and got us one. When we asked for a coffee pot, because our room did not have one, the front desk did nothing. The next day we asked the maid and she went and got one right away. The hotel was nice and we did enjoy our stay, although the front desk staff was very unhelpful, rude and didn't care about how our stay was. Even trying to have nice conversation in the morning we seemed to be a bother to them. The rest of the staff was amazing and helpful. We would return but stay in a room that was not close to the main area. I would give a 2 1/2 star rating based on the front desk but the rest of the staff was great.
