Creekside Astro-Dome w/ Hiking Trails & Forest! Private Hot Tub Nature Immersion

Experience a unique forest getaway in this Astro-themed geodesic dome! Private hiking/mountain biking trails run throughout the 8 acre property to a year-round creek. Skygaze through the telescope or stay in and watch your favorite shows from underneath the fiber optic star ceiling. A spiral staircase leads to the king bed underneath a large skylight window. Less than 15 minutes from stores and restaurants yet far enough from light pollution to enjoy starry nights while you drift off to sleep.

The space:
The Creekside Astro-Dome is roughly 500sqft and is built on eight private acres in the lush Pacific Northwest forest. Located on the outskirts of Longview, city amenities are only minutes away! The dome is fully insulated and equipped with heat, AC, Wi-Fi, a kitchen, and a bathroom with running hot water. The main room features a huge window with unobstructed views into the forest where there are miles of mapped trails to explore bridges, waterfalls, picnic areas, and a year-round creek. Relax on the couch underneath the color-changing star ceiling while your favorite movie or show plays on the Smart TV. The living area has a dining table for two, couch under the star-ceiling that converts to a full bed, a leather futon with cupholders, and a telescope for stargazing. The coffee table is complete with board games and reading material. For added comfort there is a new wall-mounted heating and AC mini-split unit and wood pellet stove.

Sleeping Arrangements:
Upstairs: The loft has a king bed underneath a large skylight window with sleep masks provided, dimmable lamps with USB charging are on each side of the bed
Downstairs: The main couch folds out into a full bed underneath the starlight ceiling, across the room is a leather futon that folds into a small bed. Sheets and extra pillows are located in the basket, and a spare cozy blanket in the ottoman.

The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare meals during your stay with a sink, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster-oven (big enough to bake a 12'' pizza!), portable cooktop, and dual coffee maker (pods or drip coffee, filters provided). Stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, wine glasses, dinnerware and silverware (for children too!), cutting board, pizza cutter, bottle opener, can opener, ice cream scoop, and more!

Bathroom:
The bathroom is located inside the dome and includes a walk-in shower, hairdryer, custom cozy bathrobes, and basic amenities. Spa slippers are provided to each guest for lounging around the dome, feel free to bring them home with you!

Bring along your mountain bikes or hike one of the many trails that we have blazed throughout the 8-acre property. Explore the land to find waterfalls, bridges, picnic areas, and abundant wildlife. Lay in the two-person hammock or soak in the hot tub and become immersed in the peaceful sounds of the native Pacific Northwest forest. Perfect for a romantic nature retreat with an adventure just steps away!

Guest access:
Guests have access to the dome home and several acres of private forest to enjoy hiking, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, etc. The creek is accessible by mapped trails year round! Property is completely private and not shared with any other guests.

Other things to note:
The dome is located up a short, freshly graveled road that you may drive right up, or hike up. Alternate parking is available at the bottom of the hill. Please note that while the short hike up to the dome from alternate parking is only about 200ft, it is uphill and steep. Remember to bring hiking shoes!
