Beach Melody, Long Beach WA

Let your worries slip away at Beach Melody. Only a short walk to the beach, you can relax in an inviting and comfortable living room with a 55" TV and all the amenities of home. The propane burning stove keeps you cozy and warm, and the well-stocked kitchen is equipped with granite counters, propane gas range, and a dishwasher. Down the hall is the primary bedroom and ensuite bathroom, with a walk-in shower. Across from the bedroom is an additional full bath, with a laundry room around the corner. Through the laundry room is a second bedroom with 2 twin beds, as well as a bonus room stocked with a sofa bed, 40" TV, DVD player, and plenty of board games and movies for family fun. Finally, there's a comfy sunroom with plenty of space to work and relax, and access to a spacious, unfenced backyard with a large patio, propane grill, firepit, and horseshoe pit. This home is just what you need to unwind, with easy access to the wide-open beach and just a few minutes’ drive to quiet Ocean Park or vibrant Long Beach.
Beach Melody is equipped with Wi-Fi and Smart TVs, as well as a landline. Amazon Prime, Paramount+, LG TV, and live local and ABC coverage are provided, as well as streaming apps for use with guests' personal accounts.

A dog under 30lbs. is permitted with approval prior to booking with a $60 fee and must be free of fleas and ticks.
Please note that this home is not appropriate for children under 6. It is not childproofed and we have a gas burning stove in living room that does not have a screen or gate around it and can be hot to the touch.
The house has a 26’ long x 15.5’ wide driveway, plenty of space for two cars.
*This house has blink cameras on the exterior for maintenance when not rented and to monitor inclement weather.*

Summer Fun

Spent a week at our favorite beach house. The owners were helpful and always reachable. Usually we stay during winter but this time we stayed in the summer. The house was perfect and did not disappoint. We love wildlife. Visits from deer, bunnies, birds and bears. Be sure to keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks. We hosted a few dinners for our family that lives in the area

Perfect beach house

Cannot say enough about this perfect beach house. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and you can hear the Pacific Ocean from the front door. It is beautifully decorated, fully stocked with anything that you could possibly desire, even to having a hot/cold spigot at the back door to rinse off after spending some time at the beach. But most noteworthy are the kind and gracious hosts. Again, we cannot say enough about how we enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Great Place

While VRBO has made the rental process clunky the owners of this property are really nice and responsive. The house is probably the cleanest and most well equipped we've stayed in. The yard is really nice with an awesome backyard. The only small issue I saw was the exterior security camera lights kept triggering after sunset. Sorta disturbing the night ambiance. Overall a really nice property.

Fun, relaxing beach getaway!

Totally enjoyed our stay at Beach Melody. The house is in a quiet area/neighborhood north of the main downtown Long Beach. It has everything and more to enjoy your stay. The owners have thought of everything in this comfortable space. I kept finding fun surprises, like the waffle iron, fondue pot, workout accessories and the kids found a fully stocked S'mores roasting kit. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach and it felt like we had the beach all to ourselves. Our time slipped away as we enjoyed relaxing, recharging and even got to see the Sandsations sand scuptures in Long Beach which were impressive. The property backs up to a forest which is a cool variation to the beach feel. We even saw a deer as we were heading out. Would love to come back!

What a great place to stay.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Close to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Really nice house. Chocked full of entertaining things to do. And so many little touches that you usually don't see, from kitchen cooking extras to little household items most places don't provide. Instructions for everything plainly written out. Highly recommend.

Great beach getaway

House was so clean. The walk to the beach was easy. We brought our wagon with us to haul sand toys and lunch out to the beach, but we could have just as easily eaten lunch back at the house. No view of the ocean, but just a short walk to the beach. We'd love to come back again! The house was so clean and really well stocked. Our kids loved sharing the bedroom with the twin beds in it even though it was pretty small. We had a great time! Thank you for providing such a wonderful getaway home.

Needed Spring Break Getaway

Holy Moly! This home has it all. First of all, Karyn and Evan were very gracious hosts. Easy to find, quiet and literally a couple minute easy walk to the beach. The kitchen is great! I've stayed at quite a few VRBO's and they've all been good but Karyn and Evan's had everything. It's all labeled and easy to get to. While we were there we had all but one meal 'at home'. They have stocked the home with plenty of games for a rainy day or a quiet evening. (even horse shoes!) This home is pet friendly, which we do not have a dog. Husband is allergic. The home was spotlessly clean with no allergic reaction at all! Kudo's to the cleaning team! Had several great walks on the beach, and a few strolls in the downtown. Close to Astoria for a quick getaway. This was close to a perfect week away. Had friends meet us there and there was more than ample room for four adults. You won't go wrong with Beach Melody. To Karyn and Evan I say thank you for a lovely week. We will be back!

We loved our stay at Beach Melody. This is probably the most organized and well equipped home we have ever rented for our vacation. And it's also beautifully decorated. The location is perfect as well: in a very quiet area, a short walk to the beach, and a few minutes drive to many different hikes. We highly recommend staying at Beach Melody!

This was the perfect home for us to stay! The home was very roomy, clean, comfortable, and the perfect location. The neighborhood was quiet, plus close to the beach!! Wonderful!!

Karyn has thought of everything, even hot and cold hose on the back patio for our dog. Very close walk to the beach that was so crowded, just birds!! Quality linens and mattress, excellent pots and pans, great decor and really comfy furniture wrap it all up. very clean and well cared for property.

Christmas vacation

Our stay at this property was amazing. The home is stocked with everything you need to arrive and start your vacation. We have stayed on the coast for years, and have not had a home more organized and cozy. Back again!!

Our second stay at this property was as lovely as the first. Clean and comfortable accommodations with that touch of home that is very appreciated. Like the last time it was well stocked with everything needed for a relaxing visit. It's location is perfect for us as we have our family we visit . It lies between Long Beach and Ocean Park. I like that it is out of the busy tourist areas but not so far that you can't go grab a quick burger or a gallon of milk if needed. The walk to the beach is short and fun.

A few stormy days followed by sunshine

Chris & I have stayed at Beach Melody several times & each time it has provided us with a place to relax & unwind. The owners have been creating an ever improving cozy atmosphere & with each new addition or update we are given a better experience than the last time we stayed. The weather during our stay gave us a perfect introduction to autumn... some days wet & windy while others filled with crisp air & sunshine. Lots of opportunities for beach walking & exploring. Vacation on the coast

Comfy beach cottage was exactly what we wanted!

Recently updated property with a tastefully decorated coastal theme that is invitingly warm and homey! Every nook and cranny held an abundance of household items. The hosts provided a relaxing and carefree getaway, not far from the ocean and a short drive to attractions.

80th Birthday girls weekend!

I rented this property for my mom and her two best friends to celebrate her 80th. I started close by in another rental but wish I would have stayed here! Can not even express all the thought the owners put in to decorating and thinking of everything you could need. Would love to rent this property again in the future!
