Good hotel in ciyt centre
Very central - perfect - location within city walls. Close to "everything". Professional staff. Parking available, but often full. Clean rooms. Breakfast was OK.

Dire or Derry is a nice place. And Maldron is a perfect place to stay. Take the tour with Martin McCrossan.

Et godt valg for tur til Derry
Et flott hotell midt i gamlebyen. De restaurerer rommene nå, og vi fikk et av disse. Delikate rom, rolig beliggenhet, deilig frokostbuffet og hyggelig betjening.Puben til hotellet har livemusikk med dyktige musikere. Anbefales!

Slitt hotell med fin beliggenhet
Rommene var uten a/c, og det var bråkete fra hovedgata når vinduene var oppe. Rommene var store og fine, men litt slitt. Frokosten var kjedelig med for dårlige/billige råvarer. Beliggenheten og at det var gratis hotellgarasje var det beste.

Sentralt, greit nok,men ikke mer
Senger og sengetøy virket litt "utdatert"; hardt og tungt. God og hyggelig service i resepsjonen, men ikke i restauranten. Til middag måtte vi bl.a. Skru opp vinffaska og slå i glassene selv. Fikk i resepsjonen oppgitt prisen for full irish breakfast til 6 pund, men måtte betale 9. Sammenlignet med andre hotell var ikke frokosten verdt prisen. Fint med gratis garasje i kjelleren. Hotellet ligger svært sentralt.

Our room had a column in the middle it that was very awkward and there was someone playing the drums and singing past 10 pm outside our window. But the mattress was great!

If this property had air conditioning it would be perfect… We were brought a fan without issue, but had to “build” a place for it to sit to be effective due to the lack out outlets near the bed… Staff were helpful, wonderful location, accommodation comfortable… the addition of air conditioning would make it damn near perfect. Love Derry, wonderful town!

Parking, friendly staff, convenient to city Centre &. attractions, a bit noisy at night with drunk people arriving all throughout the wee hours of the night, but other than that it’s a great place to stay.

Spent a couple of nights here to attend a wedding. Very clean and comfortable hotel. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We had an upgraded room that had lots of space. We enjoyed our stay very much. All of the staff we encountered went out of they're way to accommodate all of our needs.

The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and kind. April helped us in numerous ways and found us a way to get a private car and tour of the area

Excellent location, very kind staff, and spacious, comfortable rooms. Could benefit from a little refurbishment and greater attention to detail in cleaning. Other guests a bit on the noisy side, but hopefully not a common thing.

Stayed in hotel for 2 nights. Beds comfy and hotel is very central to shops, restaurants and bars. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent. Also had afternoon tea and it was lovely too. Lady who served us gave a great recommendation for a restaurant when we asked and offered to book a table for us. Very enjoyable weekend.

Great city centre location. Parking atrocious.
Great location right in the city centre. Rooms spacious, warm and comfortable. The hotel parking availability atrocious - we had to use paid public parking about 200m from the hotel.

A well located property, but having stayed in other Maldon hotels, I couldn’t believe this was the same chain. I’d stayed in the Cork on a few days before, and it was lovely, but this was like something else. Room smelled like a greasy spoon Café, fittings, hanging off wall in bathroom, TV remote with flat batteries, stains on carpet. No staff to greet for breakfast. Hard croissants. It was mercifully cheap, but I think I could see why. That said, it was quiet and well located for Derry centre.

Disappointing.
Room was freezing cold, windows wide open when it was 4 degrees outside. Radiator in our room didn't work, staff argued that it did. They even suggested that we didn't know how to turn the radiator on. I'm 56 years of age. Wouldn't show us an alternative room, they were too busy. Staff member came and checked radiator and hey-presto it didn't work. Moved from executive double room to a standard double. No refund on the difference in price!!

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. We had an issue with the sheets not being cleaned properly and someone came to change them right away. The bathroom was a bit dated and could use a deep clean, but it worked well and the location couldn't have been better. We were also able to snag one of the free parking spots at the hotel.
