«Beautiful location with the stream running in front. Located in a quaint village - it was lovely and quiet! Room was lovely and very spacious and breakfast was delicious. About a 45 minute drive to Llangollen which was a lovely place to visit. Sian and the cleaner (so sorry I forgot her name!) we're extremely friendly and helpful, even gave me access to their mobile hot-spot and helped with local attraction advice. The check-in / bar staff were a little less helpful, including dinner service - ...

«A good starting point for sightseeing in case you are driving. The castles in the area (Rhuddlan, Conwy, Grwych) or Llandudno er just a short drive away. Also it is next to nothing from the highway. Clean and quiet rooms (we got a room in the annex), not an overpriced restaurant right at the hotel next to it. Would return.»

«The hotel is lovely, but bathroom a bit disappointing. Spa feels dated, but had nice staff. Nice breakfast, with average room»

«Flott vertskap, god frokost, gode senger, nydelig uteområde»

«It is located in a quiet and very beautiful part of the country. A perfect place to relax for a few days.»

«What a fantastic and peaceful 5 night stay. The hut was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was powerful. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking for a comfortable and peaceful get away, and would certainly stay there again. Due to the hot weather and many wildfires in Wales, there was a BBQ and fire ban, so we had to alter what we had planned to cook, with only 2 hob rings, a microwave and a small fridge, but with a bit of organisation and regular ...

«It was basic but clean, bed was comfortable was ideal for what we wanted»

«Nice setting and very clean. Unfortunately, the property wasn't equipped for the hot weather. Luckily, we brought our own fan, as the place became very warm. For the price we paid, I would have expected at least a couple of fans to be provided. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but this is something that could definitely be improved.»

«I stayed at the hotel. A beautiful large room better than expected. The hotel also features a bar/club so be prepared for noise if you want to get your head down before 11pm. Breakfast was a bit haphazard. There was no breakfast buffet which would have been a bonus and quite frankly, is not difficult to arrange. The breakfast was poorly cooked with no finesse - broken egg yolks, food swimming in lots of grease and the water from the poached eggs soaking the toast - oh dear! Evening meal ...

«A unique bed&breakfast... perfe location after a day's hike up in the mountains and dinner os 15 minutes away . The room was very nice and comfy. I also enjoyed the reading room upstairs. Breakfast next morning was really good and plentiful. My wife bought a pair of alpacca socks ( you need to stay there to understand fully, there are 3 of them in the back ) Claire is a fantastic host who took really good care of us»

«hot tub with spotless and clean and well maintained »

«A friendly welcome to the property. Although nowhere in the village to eat in the evening, we were recommended a restaurant 5 minute drive away in Corwen. Straightforward continental breakfast in the morning available. As the pub shut at 10pm, there was no late night noise so enjoyed a good night's sleep. A great base for exploring the area.»

«Beautiful, comfortable property in a great, secluded location at the bottom of a valley. Everything we needed was there, and the hosts were waiting with the keys to give us the tour. Dog friendly, but be aware that the garden is not fully fenced off from the fields and sheep roam through it regularly. I can see how the track to the house could be challenging in winter, but it was no problem in a rear-wheel drive coupe in summer, even in the rain.»

«Great. Clean, quiet and well priced»

«The cottage was very quiet and remote yet the road is no problem at all. It has a stunning view and there’s a walk route where you can explore nearby villages and farm. The cottage owner was friendly and accommodating. She prepared freshly baked scones, milk, coffee, tea, sugar ready on our arrival. She checked on us as well twice to make sure we’re okay. The cottage was cosy and heating was perfect if you need it. The water pressure was superb and the kitchen is well equipped. Location wise, ...

«Gloriously remote! These holiday cottages are located down a narrow, winding track, so the detailed instructions provided by the host were invaluable. The cottage lights and heating were on when we arrived making for a cosy welcome on an autumn afternoon. The bedroom and en-suite were carefully presented and very clean and the kitchen was supplied with all the necessary equipment to prepare meals and snacks. The cottage is within easy driving distance of many North Wales places of interest ...

«We were very pleased with the Old Barn and it is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. It was well equipped and included things that we usually have to bring with us when staying away, such as washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels, soap, salt and pepper. The hosts provided a pint of milk on arrival, with tea, coffee and sugar and some homemade bara breth which was lovely. They met us when we arrived and took us through everything from the recycling to using the FreetSat TV. It was ...
