«Wonderful stay! Accommodation was very clean, well equipped and lovely and warm after a day walking in the rain! Food was great and staff very attentive. Wonderful views, very peaceful and the cabana was a bit different which the kids loved especially going up the ladder to bed.»

«Great room, friendly staff and an amazing breakfast. 100% would stay again»

«The hotel looks great from the outside, but inside it has a stale smell. Our room»

«Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee. If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!»

«Nice pub, very friendly staff»

«The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening.»

«Very hospitable staff. Delicious food. Very comfortable room; good value for money and perfect for a short break. I would definitely come back.»

«Rooms were spread out on several buildings around the Market square, the standard on our room were fairly ordinary and definitely overpriced. Awkward layout of the bar, but good live music on the Tuesday night. Acceptable kitchen.»

«It was perfect for our stay. Firstly, it was only 5 minutes walk from Harlech Railway station, which was great as we came by train (the ride in along the coast is gorgeous by the way). It is also very convenient for the amazing beach, the wonderful castle & the bustling little town & shops. Our room was clean, quiet & a good size, with a lovely view of the castle. I had the best sleep I've had for a while. The staff were helpful & friendly & gave us good tips about the local area. Also, just ...

«Cozy well fitted house with all needs »

«The room was terrible with a smashed bathroom basin, so I asked for another room. The 2nd room had a smelly damp, mouldy bathroom. There were no common areas. The bar/restaurant areas were kept closed/locked. Reception staff were not at the hotel full time. Only sporadically during the day.»

«We had a very nice stay at Gowel, cozy, well equipped with all you need, located in good area with easy access to attractions points and hiking areas. »

«Vi hadde et fint opphold. Litt uvant å måtte åpne tog-grind manuelt for å kjøre til hotellet, men det var også litt sjarmerende. Hyggelig betjening og en god frokost. »

«Lovely property in stunning location with lovely touches-Prosecco, cake, “emergency meal”, etc My only problem was in terms of getting information about access/key. I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward.»

«The place was beyond our expectations in every way: clean, nice, and beautifully laid out. Everything was of good quality down to the smallest details. We felt so comfortable we didn't want to leave. The games room was a particular delight but we also enjoyed the conservatory area, as well as the nice living roommand word burning stove.»
