Will stay there again
Lovely little hotel and pub. The food was great, and very reasonably priced. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, despite being rushed off their feet in the evenings. Will stay there again if we are in the area

Dirty bathroom with no heating. Poor sound proofing; could hear conversation and snoring from people above. Dirty carpet, squeaky mattress, cold and dingy. I would not stay there again.

Fantastic location, all the staff were helpful and friendly , In need of some restoration but more than adequate for our needs , food was excellent ,

Room was small, but cheep and cheerful, with good wifi. The "early" breakfast was prompt, and plentiful. The "normal" breakfast superb. Local supermarket stocks everything you need for lunches.

A super September short stay!!
Excellent welcome, clean and comfortable beds, modern power shower, TV, and free refreshments. Very convenient parking, and fresh wholesome meals. Jamie, the owner, was most obliging, helpful, and having grown up in the local countryside, can provide informative local knowledge. His staff were efficient and very pleasant.

Lovely quiet stay
Rooms were clean and comfortable, the bar was friendly and welcoming, the food was to a good standard with plenty of choice. Breakfast was generous and really well cooked. Perfect place to stay for us as we were exhibiting at the showground in Builth Wells for the weekend.

Well placed and well priced
For three mature gentlemen on motorcycles the Belle Vue was acceptable. The rooms and bathrooms were tired but no complaints for the price. The owner and staff are very helpful and the hotel breakfasts ( we booked B&B and evening meals are top quality and well priced as are the beers, wines and spirits. The situation is excellent for touring mid and South Wales and lots of events happen in the immediate area. This was a return visit although the ownership has changed and the building was in the process of being repainted externally.

In the middle of renovation
Didn't get off to a good start, hotel surrounded by scaffolding, cold and deserted when we arrived. There had been a Misunderstanding about our arrival time, and we hadn't been expected until midnight. Room small and basic, but clean. flowers, chocolates and whisky miniature a nice touch. Breakfast good and plenty of it. The owner very friendly and apologetic, he has only been since August and has lots of plans for the hotel. Had a meal there one night and very good indeed. All in all, I'm sure once it is finished it will be a delightful hotel, and in the meantime, for the rate charged you can't complain.

Hotel attached to pub in middle of Wales
Exterior in process of re-decoration, but very welcoming inside. Well frequented by locals, the pub food is excellent and cooked to order. Breakfast was also first rate. Room was very clean and comfortable, with adequate space and good shower. Very comfortable night.
