Awesome place. Nice looking and organized lodge with a superb location a very short walk from Victoria Falls. Very nice and positive staff. A location somewhat out of this world when passing zebras, antelopes and baboons on your way to breakfast in the morning. And even a giraff on of the days we stayed there. Would go back tomorrow if I had the chance !!!!

Amazing location
Great place right next to the falls and so many amazing animals just wondering around. It’s a living safari experience plus free access to the falls . Free shuttle to the more expensive sister resort too so you get to enjoy all the goods there too

Minne for livet!
Fantastisk sted! Blir som regel irritert om noe hindrer oss i å komme på hotellrommet, men ikke når det er en giraff som står foran døra ... Fantastisk dyreliv på hotellområdet og fantastisk nærhet til fossen ... God mat, hyggelig betjening. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Et flott (men dyrt) opphold på Zambezi Sun. Hotellet har en fantastisk beliggenhet like ved Victoria Falls, men det er et stykke unna Livingstone sentrum. Inngang til Victoria Falls er gratis hvis man bur på hotellet. Eiendommen har et stort og flott bassengområde, der sebra, impala og giraffer av og til vandrer rundt fritt. En negativ ting var at de skrur av airconditionen på alle rom tidlig om morningen, uten at man har mulighet å skru det på igjen. Det ble da veldig fort varmt på rommene ettersom det var 40 grader utendørs. Men alt i alt et flott opphold på et hotell som det hadde vert fint å tilbringe lenger tid på.

Flott hotell i brusen fra Victoria Falls
Veldig hyggelig betjening, flott beliggenhet, god mat ( faktisk bedre enn det vi erfarte på Royal Livingston).Viktig å være klar over at det er kaldt om natten (5-6 grader); og det er ikke varme på rommene!. Frokost og middag kan være en kald opplevelse om vinteren, da restauranten er åpen mot uteomgivelsene!! F

一人旅で利用。ビクトリアの滝へ一番近く、無料で入園できるので選びました。滝へは3回も行き、滝の飛沫でびしょびしょになってもホテルに帰ってシャワーや着替えもできてとても便利でした。 スタッフの方々もとてもフレンドリーで、お出迎えや日本語で『こんにちは』と言ってくれたのも嬉しかったです。朝食のビュッフェも豪華で美味しかった！敷地内にはインパラやシマウマ、サルもいて、キリンにも出会えました。中庭での夜のコンサートも良いムードでした。ルナレインボーの見られる日にまた泊まってみたいです。 ホテルによる空港の送迎が現地の相場に比べるとだいぶ割高な印象なのと、ホテルとは関係ないとは思いますが、滝への裏口を出ると観光客狙いで色々とツアーやガイドの勧誘に声をかけてくる人たちがいるので注意です。

The welcome was amazing which my children loved and appreciated a lot. I am a Zambian who has lived and given birth to my children abroad. This was the first time I brought my children (24, 22 and 8 years old) to Zambia to fully embrace the culture and Avani gave us that. From the welcome to the night entertainment, and all the in-between surrounding activities were just phenomenal. We could sit having a meal and the Zebras or impalas are also grazing just a few meters away from us without any fear as the animals mind their own business- this was a beautiful experience. All the staff were super friendly. The planned activities were not too far away from the hotel too and transport was very easy to access- so another positive. Overall- a very positive 4-day stay and the children have asked that we go back! 5**

It delivered way more than it promised, it was the most amazing hotel I have stayed in, the hospitality was unbeatable, we saw so many Zebra, giraffes, baboons and impala. The food was amazing, breakfast was amazing. We were on the Livingstone Natural park property and the walk to the falls was less than a 5 minute walk.

Without a question the best value for money if you are visiting the Victoria Falls area. The hotel is within the national park so you have free access to the falls which are a 5 minute walk from your room. In addition, there are zebras, giraffes, impalas and monkeys roaming free within the grounds which makes for an unforgettable experience. The staff is incredibly well trained and accommodate all of our needs, always with a smile and good attitude.

The property was nice and always kept cleaned and it’s just a few steps from the Victoria falls and gives you free access to enter which is awesome the staff there are amazing and always greeting you there are animals all over the property which was nice the food was good and the rooms were nice comfy bed and nice hot showers the only complaint I have was there wasn’t enough light outside at night at the hotel and was a bit scary walking and the WiFi was really bad other than that it was a great stay

O hotel e super bem localizado, só tem mais um dentro do parque das Cataratas. É bonito tem show finais de semana na piscina e o mais bacana, os bichos selvagens ficam soltos no hotel. Só achei restrito, pouca variedade no cardápio de almoço e jantar. Mas o café da manhã é farto, só para o padrão do hotel poderiam incluir suco natural ao invés de artificial. E cappuccino e chocolate quente, acho estranho cobrarem a parte isto sendo um hotel de melhor padrão.

This is a great experience for those travelling with very small children. Not only were there plenty of facilities and activities for them and the staff child friendly it's only a short walk to the Victoria Falls! perfect for the kids. Seeing wildlife from the comfort of our rooms and all the additional Livingstone adventures made this an unforgettable holiday.

Cannot Beat the Location
We loved Avani at Victoria Falls! There yould not have been a better experience. We were worried that our stay would not be as good as it could have been due to covid-19, but we were very impressed. The staff were all wearing masks. They made us feel welcome from moment one and quickly responded to any concern we had. You CANNOT beat the location! It is a five minute walk to the falls. You can see the falls and then return to your room for a hot bath. There are zebra right next to you constantly. There are also monkeys and elk nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

For hotel of this size the restaurant for most nights was the pool bar which had a limited menu and was outside seating in the rainy season. Also some nights there was local drumming entertainment in the pool bar which was very load and went on far to long.

ホテルをチェックインするときにバウチャーで確認したいことがあってカバンから出そうとしたら、女性のフロント係がイライラして強い口調で「早くこの書類にサインしろ」と言ってきました。４歳の子供連れで長旅からやっと到着してゆっくり休めると思っていたところに不愉快な気分になってとても残念でした。 それ以外はホテルの施設や立地など申し分なく楽しめました。

A little bit of Africa right outside your room
Amazing hotel right in the center of a national park with direct access to the falls. If you want to experience a little bit of Africa right outside your hotel room, you must stay here. Where on earth could you stay. In a 1st class hotel that has giraffe, zebras, monkey & springboks strolling around. 5 minutes walk from the complex & you are in the Zambia side of the falls. Your hotel stay includes admission to this side of the falls, as many times as you want to visit. The Zimbabwe side is about a 30 minute walk....not the greatest with lots of trucks & local people trying to sell something & yo.u have to transit boarder & passport check. The service at the hotel is 1st rate, everybody is so nice. Breakfast is god with lots of the usual choices, they also have a small section for glutton free. Dinner at the hotel was good also. You can book tours in the lobby & the staff is knowledgeable.

The room was okay. But needs to get update. The people that working in the hotel are excellent very nice and pleasant. FYI in one time I need a Taxi to the bridge between Zambia to Zimbabwe it was raining the hotel told me $20.00. We got are transport from different company to Airport for $30. And the 25 minutes.

Decent hotel in a great location. Property was fairly well kept. Some staff was very helpful and pleasant, some Not as much, it might just be the culture. Dinner and show at the Bowma was awesome, the dancers unbelievably fun. I would recommend this hotel but one on the Zimbabwe side may be a bit more convenient depending on the activities you are planning.

Wild oasis
Avani is a lovely oasis with a casual luxury vibe. Can't get over how zebra, impala, giraffes, and other animals casually roam the grounds. Was amazing and the staff made sure the cohabitation was safe. It's nice you can visit the Livingston sister property to view the sunset from their viewing deck or dine for variety if you like. And there is a on demand shuttle between the two where you are likely to see animals on the way. Conveniently located near the Zimbabwe border so walking to the falls on the other side is feasible.
