«We go to Galveston almost every year from DFW and look for a newer rental, away from town, on the beach. This was great as it was the farthest from town and was the last rental on the island before your cross the bridge to the next island. Love the privacy and quietness! The morning and evening walks on the beach were felt like we were by ourselves.»

«We have stayed at this property several times and it’s always very clean and taken care of. However, the water at the property this last time was as very smelly (sulfur). We contacted the property owner and they said this was normal, but this was the first time the water was unpleasant. We dealt with it, but just an FYI.»

«The condo was very clean and the master bedroom bed extremely comfortable. The kitchen was short on items I have found to always be available when staying at other properties at Pointe West. We were attempting to make a charcuterie board and the only serving tray available was a cookie baking sheet. Although, technically the property is beachside, it overlooks the parking area vehicles park on to go the beach so instead of looking at the ocean, you see a parking lot. In fairness there is a ...

«Everything was great. Owners were very quick to respond when the AC went out the last day. Only issue was (which is my fault for not checking the address) the property is all the way at the other end of Galveston and the beach tournament was 50 minutes away. Great place just wish it was closer to the main restaurants, activities and grocery stores. Would definitely stay there again.»

«This was such a cozy little place. It was 8 of us and there was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was plenty of towels for emergency. We only used a couple because we brought our own. Everything was nice and clean. There were board games that the kids played with a couple of times so they had plenty to do when we were inside.The beach was right in front with one of the walkways right in front of the house, it did have a little bit of grass we had to walk ...

«This was a wonderful week-long stay at Pointe West. The weather was perfect, beach was spotless, and all the nearby restaurants were not too busy serving delicious seafood, etc. The Pointe Restaurant & Bar was closed for renovations, so we stocked up at the grocery store for poolside snacks and drinks. RH Cove was nice with a few areas needing attention. The patio table in the listing was missing, windows had salt air grime and tiny hand prints, ants were a constant on kitchen counter-tops. ...

«At first a little concerned, the property was 20 miles away from Galveston, but it worked out to be a great location and great facility and I would definitely stay there again. We consider it a destination state and did not get to take advantage of the pool with the lazy river, but will do that definitely next time»

«We picked this condo because of the 2 king beds. The complex is beautiful.. We were in Galveston because we had a family member in the hospital and we have discovered renting a condo for a week is much better than a hotel rooms. we would rent again if needed.»
