The studio, on the first floor of a building with no elevator, is the perfect space to relax after a day exploring the hills of Lisbon, equipped with a 43” smart TV and cable, high-speed Wi-Fi (500/100mbs), comfortable sofa, designer coffee tables, art books, and soothing plants. A smart air conditioner ensures a comfortable temperature is maintained all year round. The sound and heat resistant double-glazed windows in the front open onto a charming juliette balcony facing a pedestrian only street. The tailor-made full-size wardrobe is a space separating art piece that provides privacy to the bedroom area while also serving as a TV console. Quality linens, a double-size bed (1.6x2.0m) with a memory foam mattress, topper, and feather pillows provide unparalleled comfort ensuring a restful night’s sleep.

The concrete tiled bathroom is equipped with a rain shower, a personal hand shower, large mirror, hairdryer, and heated electric towel railing.

￫ Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with Bosch appliances (4-plate electric stove, microwave with grill, fridge/freezer and washing machine), kettle, toaster and and a Nespresso coffee machine. The apartment is also equipped with iron, ironing board, and a washing drying rack.

The apartment is in the parish (“freguesia”) of Misericórdia home to the famous boroughs of Chiado, Bairro Alto and Principe Real. The apartment is in an area known as “The Golden Triangle” – an intersection of 3 streets between Rua de São Bento, Rua do Poço dos Negros, and Rua Poiais de São Bento - there are many options for groceries, cafes, restaurants, bars, design stores and art galleries next to the apartment. You’re also conveniently located close to the famous 28 tram line which is a must ride when in Lisbon.

The local area around the apartment is filled with superb shops, restaurants, and bars. Whether it's an Aussie style breakfast, a French patisserie, or a local fishmonger for Portuguese seafood you’re craving, you have them all right on your doorstep. The funky design stores on Rua de São Bento and Rua Poiais de São Bento are worth exploring for local art, fashion, and design.

Santos is your closest local area (5mins walk) and offers an eclectic mix of local design stores, restaurants and bars to explore. Keep walking through Santos to explore the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga and the Miradouro da Rocha Conde dé Óbidos next door. Another 10mins walk will take you past Copenhagen Coffee Lab & Bakery and onto LX Factory and the famous Ponte 25 de Abril bridge. If you’re feeling up for it, you could even walk to Belém and reward yourself with a famous Pastel de Nata at Pastéis de Belém (approx 1hr 15mins walk from the apartment along the river).

Chiado is 10mins walk and offers some of the most stylish fashion stores, restaurants and bars in Lisbon. While in Lisbon you must try all the different Pastel de Nata bakeries and Manteigaria in Chiado is no exception. From Chiado, walk down to Praça do Comercio to explore the river and local architecture before winding up the hill into Alfama and Graça.

Principe Real is 10mins walk and is home to award winning Portuguese and international restaurants, vibrant coffee shops, and many local fashion and design stores to explore. If you’re in town on a Saturday, the local farmers market in Jardim do Príncipe Real is a must for fresh produce and is often accompanied by a local design market on the other side of the park.

The closest metro station is Baixa-Chiado, approximately a 10min walk (850m/930yd) from the apartment. Trains to Sintra depart from Rossio Train Station (1.2km/0.74mi). Cascais is accessible by train from Cais do Sodré Train Station (1.1km/0.68mi).

If you are arriving by plane from Lisbon Airport, there are a few options to get to the apartment.

￫ Metro
The trip takes about 25 to 30 minutes. Take the metro at the airport and change to the green or blue line, your stop will be in Baixa-Chiado and will be just 10 minutes from the apartment.

￫ Cars
Taxi or Uber are also possibilities to reach the apartment, but for a faster and easier arrival, please contact us so that we can provide a transfer service to pick you up at the airport (subject to extra charge).

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.
￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
￫ Check-in time starts at 15:00 and check-out must be done until 11am.
￫ The property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus guaranteeing the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay.
￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly consumptions exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.
