The house offers plenty of entertainment in a very luxurious setting. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare your own food, and there is also a build-in barbecue outside which we happily used twice during our stay. The swimming pool was nice, although a bit small if you are with a larger company; there is not a lot of space to swim or play when there are 7+ people in the pool ;). The house was clean, just like the towels and everything on the beds. The showers are great; the one downstairs feels like it gives you a massage :D
The area is pretty and quite. The only downside there is that most of the villagers did not even greet us back when we walked or drove by. There was a stray cat who came to our house a few times, she was very social and friendly. On our last day we went to a dining place close to the house (less than 10 minute drive), which was cheap with large plates of good food! This place was recommended by the owners of the house - be sure to ask them about it!
We spend a lot of our time outside of the house. We went to Lisbon (~50 minute drive) and Mafra (~25 minute drive, nice palace there). We went to other places as well but I can't remember them now, the short story is that there is a lot to do and see within the 1 hour driving range!
I fully recommend this house to anyone who wants a luxurious and relaxing stay in a small and quite village in Portugal.
