The check in was a nightmare and we were told we couldn’t check in when we arrived because we booked on Expedia. Finally when we did check in the new person told us they were sorry and tried to make it right with drink tickets-nevermind that it ruined the rest of the day because our timeline was delayed 3 hours. We didn’t use the drink tickets at all either. We were also told multiple different times of the onsite restaurant hours. When we finally did eat at the restaurant-which was supposed to open at 5-we were not seated until almost 5:20 and there was literally no one in the restaurant. To cap the weekend off, my husband got food poisoning immediately following eating scallops at the restaurant. Upon check out there was no cares given about any of this. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Lincoln over the years, and never have I had such a terrible experience. Never again will I stay here. And such poor professional on the staff and management blaming Expedia for their shortcomings.
