Our friends group chose this house for our annual family trip and it was one of the best houses we've stayed in over the past 10 years.
PROS
The lake was tons of fun and the kids had a blast in the water. It's nice to have a private dock. There's a boat and a canoe that we were able to use.
The kitchen is large with nice, new appliances and well stocked with everything we needed.
The house was pretty clean and free of clutter.
There are two outdoor decks with beautiful views of the lake and wildlife.
The house was comfortable for up to 20 people. Lots of room and options for families to spread out.
TIPS
This is not a 7 bedroom house. The 4 bed bunk ("megabunk") is in a common space. From the photos it looked like it was in a loft, but it's not. It has no privacy and you have to walk through it to get to the stairs that lead to the lake.
There are a LOT of stairs. If anyone in your group has mobility challenges, they may not be able to enjoy the lake.
There's a lot of vegetation in the water at this end of the lake. Not a problem, just be aware.
There's no beach. The lake goes right up to the shoreline.
Bring ropes for your floaties. The current likes to push everything south.
The house is only 10 minutes away from grocery stores.
There are four window A/C units. One in each of the two rooms upstairs, two on the main kitchen/living room level, and none downstairs. The 3 bedrooms (+ bunk space) downstairs can get warm. Bring a portable unit to cool down this level.
