«We only needed a place to spend the night as we were visiting family in the area. Shower pressure was surprisingly amazing! Breakfast was included which was a nice bonus- I appreciated the variety of yogurt flavors & the apples were wrapped, making them ideal to take for later. Staff was friendly!»

«The parking lot has giant pot holes near the entrance which was our first red flag. We arrived a little after 4pm and was informed that despite check in starting at 3pm our room was not ready and it would be another hour and a half. The woman at the desk gave us a master key card so we could use the pool and asked us to only use it on the pool room and not other things which seemed like a security violation. «Each time we choose to visit the lake and occasionally due to unpredictable circumstances; this hotel is the only option to stay ! It’s always clean , proximity to the beach area , stores and restaurants. The hotel staff is always accommodating. «Property is very nice and renovated, staff is helpful and also very nice. View from lakeside patio is amazing. Only reason for four stars is a few improvements could make a big difference, like coffee in the rooms.(it was available for free in the lobby), and bar soap in the bathrooms. There is very little room on the bathroom sink to put toiletries, but the bathrooms are clean and renovated and showers are good. We had a nice stay and would visit again.»

«The location was great! Private beach was very nice. The office closes at 8:00 and that is where the ice machine is located, so no ice after 8. Could have been a bit cleaner, but overall, a great place to stay.»

«My husband and I came for our anniversary weekend. We got married at Cedar Point, but wanted to find some other places and things to do in the area. Anchor was a cute little place. «This is truly a nice hotel, we got the "Luxury Lake View Double King" room and its fantastic. The view is nice, the beds super comfy. Huge bathroom, I mean its ridiculous - our shower is probably bigger than the elevator. The service of the staff was excellent. (WiFi is fast as well)»

«Had a little trouble checking in because we booked third party and didn’t get the instruction text. However we were next door to a very loud dog and the staff went above and beyond to allow us access to another room away from the dog if it was still barking at bedtime. Luckily it was not and quieted down when the people came back from dinner. But the offer was very appreciated. I also liked having 3 separate beds when traveling with teenagers. Thank you!»

«This hotel was a surprise for me, I tend to not use the Super8 motels. However, this facility was perfect. The location is perfect for accessing attractions in the area, plenty of food options close by, Lake Erie beach within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. «Very clean and well maintained. The TV was about 32 inches which isnt a big deal but its nice to watch TV in your room at night. The "beach towels" are tiny so take your own. Continental breakfast is "chilled food" so toast cereal yogurt. Kids in the adult pool most of the time. But overall for the price it was worth it.»

The shower stopped up the first night so I called the front desk and was told 'I will let maintenance know" We never saw them or heard from them.
