Absolute dump. Don't be misled by the photos. I was hesitant at first to book a room because of the low price plus not being a national chain. But the photos on Expedia made the place appear OK so I booked 2 nights through Expedia. (I should note that I also had to pre-pay for both nights). Frankly, for the price I didn't expect much but this hotel didn't even live up to those low expectations.
Immediately upon arrival I had my doubts but it was late and I had already pre-paid for two nights through Expedia. The first room they offered me had the television torn off the wall and laying face down on the dresser. Underneath it was a half eaten muffin. I told the young man at the front desk about the condition of the room and he graciously gave me another (upgraded) room. The second room wasn't much better, though. However, it was so late in the evening that I reluctantly stayed that 1st night.
The next morning I checked out (a day earlier than what I originally booked and pre-paid for). However, the clerk at the desk said he could not refund me for the 2nd night because the booking was through Expedia. He said that I would have to get the refund through Expedia. I contacted Expedia who in turn contacted the hotel. Expedia then emailed me saying the hotel refused to issue a refund. (Bear in mind I only wanted a refund for the second night that I didn't not stay).
Because the hotel refused to refund the night I didn't stay, I ended up paying for two nights in a filthy room.
