Chalet Melussac is a spacious, three-storey chalet for 15 (10 adults and 5 children) between Le Grand Bornand and Chinaillon. It's 2km to Le Grand Bornand, but with a bus stop just a few steps from the chalet, you won't be dependent on your car.

It's a great chalet for a group of several families, with a superb bunk room for younger guests. In total, the chalet has four bath/shower rooms and four double bedrooms, some of which open on to a balcony or terrace. The final bedroom is a bunk room designed with children in mind.

The wellness area is another great benefit - at the end of a busy day in the mountains, it's wonderful to relax in the hot tub or steam room. There's also a ski room on the ground floor, with its own entrance via steps at the side of the house, so you don't have to carry outdoor gear through the house.

The open plan living area has a modern, well-equipped kitchen, a large dining table and two cosy seating areas - one in front of the fire and another in front of the TV. And of course, there's another kitchen and living room in the apartment on the ground floor.

A large chalet needs plenty of parking, and Chalet Melussac provides that too - there's room for one car in the garage and four more outside the chalet. In winter guests will be requested to remove the snow from their cars before parking them in the garage. Melted snow could seep into the ground and cause leaks in the lower floors. Please note: A maximum of 5 cars can park at the chalet (4 cars in the outdoor car park + 1 car in the garage). Thank you for your understanding. Parties and fireworks are strictly forbidden. Chalet Melussac has a maximum legal capacity is 15 people (10 adults). Beds will be prepared only accordingly to the number of people indicated on your rental contract. Thank you for your understanding. To enjoy maximum comfort, the dormirory should be used only by children. Very young children must not be left unsupervised in the mezzanine play area. There are no railings on the access stairs. The chalet is best suited for children over 7 years old. IMPORTANT: the hammam is available from 4:30pm to 10:30pm for when you return from your day out in the mountains. The shoe dryer can't be turned on at night.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

If you cancel your booking and are due a refund, we will deduct any third party payment processing or foreign exchange fees related to the booking that we have been charged from the amount refunded.
