Bunkhouse Lodge er et luksuriøst tilfluktssted for både par og familier. Med sin eklektiske blanding av alle ting 'cowboy', er denne hytta som ingen andre overnattingssteder i Medicine Park! Fra den store omsluttende verandaen kan du se Mt. Scott stiger nesten 2500 fot fra præriegulvet. Kjøreturen til toppen av dette granittstykket er en av de beste naturskjønne utsiktene i hele Oklahoma.

Bak Mt. Scott, du vil finne Amerikas første naturopplevelse ved navn Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. Sykler, kajakker, motorsykler og fotturer venter på oppdagelsen din på sekstifire tusen dekar. Du vil helt sikkert bli imponert over den naturskjønne utsikten og historiske steder. Det er bergformasjoner større enn en liten by på dette stedet. Du kan starte dagen med en fluestang og en largemouth bass, gå til en naturlig bro klokka 12 og avslutte dagen med en biff på restauranten Old Plantation i Medicine Park. Hvis du liker vannsport, har vi den berømte, granittbunnen, blå vann Lake Lawtonka, bare ved foten av fjellene. Du må kjøre åtte timer vestover for å se noe lignende.

Bunkhouse lå på en navngitt vei, men ikke lenger. Det er nå på 'Bunkhouse Road' med et offisielt gateskilt fra Comanche County som bekreftelse. Like bak oss er tre blåøyde sigøynervannerhester som lager ham til to tilstøtende beiteområder i Windsong Ranch og rett bak dem er en flokk alpakka.

Eklektisk vil beskrive dette overnattingsstedet, men det gjenspeiler flerfasetter i Sørvest-Oklahoma på helårsbasis. Vi håper du vil like den like mye som vi gjør!

Family visit
We were three generations in the area visiting family. The Bunkhouse was right in the middle and where we wanted to be. LOVED the location. Quiet, except when artillery practice was happening…not long at all. Views were amazing and yellow flowers in bloom. My 15 year old was ready to move in! Brennan responded quickly to any communications. Overall, we would stay again!

Beautiful, peaceful property!
The Bunkhouse was easy to find, and everything was clean, well stocked and easy to use. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch with our coffee in the morning and in the evening watching the kids chasing fireflies. There is lots of space indoors, tv had everything that we looked for. The management was really quick answering all of my questions. The only negative was that our stay was so short. Our adult children have texted us to say they wish they were still there, and the grandkids (9-11) had a ball. The beds were comfy, air conditioner ran very well, and the WiFi never caused a problem. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Our recent stay at the Bunckhouse was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by our host. The Bunckhouse itself was charming and cozy, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for our family getaway, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby attractions. We enjoyed spending time exploring the area during the day and returning to the Bunckhouse in the evenings to relax by the firepit. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We truly felt like valued guests throughout our time at the Bunckhouse. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we're already planning our next visit. If you're looking for a charming retreat with exceptional hospitality, look no further than the Bunckhouse. Highly recommended!

Great place
We love the bunkhouse! Our group had another great visit there. The only thing we have trouble with at this house is comfortable seating. We did enjoy the new recliner but wish the chairs around the table were more comfortable. We spend a lot of time around the table playing games and visiting. They also wanted me to let the owner know the couch has seen better days. But we absolutely LOVE the porch and Yard. The view is incredible! Thanks for another great time!

"Bunkhouse" Vacay Memories
Our little family loved "The Bunkhouse." It was in a beautiful location outside of Medicine Park. With beautiful mountain views of the Wichita mountains we had quick access to all of the adventures of Medicine Park. The cabin was nice and clean decorated in a western bunkhouse decor. We enjoyed the wildlife refuge, the aquarium, downtown Medicine Park and the kids loved swimming in Lake Lawtonka. We also enjoyed the beautiful wrap around porch late in the evenings. Great place to stay for awesome family time and we will definitely b back. Thank you so much for sharing "The Bunkhouse" with our family. Loved every minute of our short weekend visit.

Oklahoma Oasis!
While decidedly out of town, this property was just minutes away from everything! We truly enjoyed our evenings on the wrap-around porch, cooking in the spacious kitchen, and the beautiful views that surrounded us and nature that greeted us. We were delighted to have access to the washer and dryer; arriving home without suitcases full of laundry was a DREAM! The host was incredibly responsive to our questions and (minor) concerns. The beds were quite comfortable and the location quiet. Must see things nearby: hiking trails around Lake Lawtonka, historic Medicine Park, and the Comanchee Cultural Center. Lake Lawtonka's public beach access is quite rocky and we recommend water shoes.

BCT Graduation
This property was perfect for Family Day with my soldier. Less than 10 minutes from base and easy drive. The property was very clean, cozy and felt like home. We were able to spend the full day with our soldier in a very comfortable setting and cook his requested meals. This was SO much better then hanging out in a hotel room for the day. Love love love!

Peaceful Ranch Life Surrounded By the Beautiful Wichita Mountains
I rented this mini- ranch called "The Bunkhouse" for our familys stay for my Grandsons Army Graduation and Family Day. Since it was about13+ hour drive one-way from alabama We all decided to make it a vacation. My daughter Summer & I work in retail so we really needed a vacation. Everything at the "Bunkhouse Ranch Retreat" as our family calls it was above and beyond our expectations. Also Brannon is a great host. You can call him anytime for any questions. We saw horses and cows and longhorns coming up the Bunkhouse Drive. Just a 7 minute drive from Fort Sill for Family Day. We picked my Grandson up and brought him back to the Bunkhouse Ranch for the Day, up till evening. He loved it as well. Medicine Park Village(With Swimming) is only 4 minutes away and also beautiful Lake Lawtonka Beach is about 3 minutes away. We really enjoyed playing cards at night on the porch table. There's a great evening/night time breeze on the porch. The surrounding Wichita Mountains are breathing in beauty. Not kidding. Our family made some fantastic memories here. We really didn't want to leave and go home. We all wished we had at least another weeks stay . Everything is furnished. All you have to bring is yourself and your groceries. Also a Target and Walmart is close by in Lawton Oklahoma. I totally rate this a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Sonya Sawyer & Summer White & Family.
