Pros:
Front Desk Service: The staff member who greeted us was professional and friendly, providing a thorough "play-by-play" check-in experience.
Cons:
Atmosphere & Layout: The hotel has an unconventional, dated layout that lacks a standard "hotel vibe" and feels significantly aged.
Room Cleanliness: Upon entry, the room smelled of stale air. While it initially looked "put together," the nightstand was covered in cup rings, sticky residue, and dried food (likely chocolate). After wiping the surface, the white paper towel turned brown.
Amenities & Linens: The room was not stocked with Kleenex. Only a minimal amount of linens were provided (2 towels, 2 washcloths, 1 hand towel, 1 bath rug). Most concerning was a large, matted wad of hair found attached to one of the "clean" bath towels.
Plumbing Issues: The shower hardware was dysfunctional. The faucet stopper was seized in the "up" position, and once the water was finally diverted to the showerhead, it sprayed forcefully from the faucet in all directions, including outside of the tub.
Summary:
Despite the pleasant front desk staff, the lack of basic hygiene and functioning plumbing made for a poor stay. I ended up performing more cleaning than the housekeeping staff apparently did prior to my arrival
