Great accommodations! Clean, nice layout for many people. Outstanding communication & responses from the hosts. Even walked into a small personalized gifts for our group left by the hosts. Stunning property perfect for groups

What an incredible place to stay! Clean and modern but rustic, perfect for getting out of the city for a few days. We had a friends reunion of 10, but we could have comfortably fit twice that number due to the sheer amount of space at the lodge. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, making meals a pleasure to prepare. Updated appliances, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer combo, simplified the cleanup process. While there's lots to do in the area, we were content not to leave the property between gaming, puzzling, watching movies, hiking, etc. Katie and Greg were very responsive, and check-in/out was a breeze. We can't wait to go back next year!

Beautiful and Fun Property

We had a group of 20 stay for a combined bachelor/bachelorette party and we all had a blast! The property was very clean and a great setup for a large group. We loved hanging by the bonfire and having the large living room area so we could all be together to play games and hang out

Golf Trip

Very Clean Nice Home

The house was as advertised and super clean. If you're looking for seclusion this is a great place. Communication with the hosts were timely, any questions were addressed right away. The rooms were great. The basement bunk room was a perfect setup for the kids. Another plus was all the switches were labeled so you don't have to figure out what the switch controlled. The land was not nearly as big as the picture suggested. We went into it thinking there was a vast open space the kids could play soccer or volleyball but it was a small patch between the u shaped driveway. The house has Startlink internet which is terribly slow, it was difficult to do any work (virtual meetings). I wouldn't recommend trying to work if you don't have to! Make sure you read the VRBO fine print, although it says can sleep 20+ after 10 they charge extra $50 per person per night over 10. There really isn't anything to do within 10 a ten minute drive. All activities require a 25-35 minute drive back towards South Haven or St Joe's. Overall the kids and family had a great time and enjoyed the house. We did manage to get a volleyball and badminton game going a few days. This is a very clean nice home, but probably won't come back to this one.

Awesome House, Incredible Stay!!

A group of 14 of us stayed here for a golf weekend, and our stay was fantastic. The house has more space than you could possibly need to hang out together! We spent a lot of time in the sprawling front yard, and enjoyed shooting around on the basketball hoop in the driveway. At night we had lots of space/seating available across the kitchen/dining/living room areas. Each one of us ended up in our own beds, which was great. Everyone slept comfortably! We also enjoyed our bonfire at one of the two firepits! The house is on a huge lot, and we also took an afternoon walk to a pond on the property. The house had all the basic amenities we needed, as well as plenty of pots/pans/utensils and such in the kitchen. The house was clean, the furniture was comfortable, and the hosts were very helpful in answering my questions before, and clearly communicating their rules/expectations and need-to-know info. We HIGHLY recommend staying here, and will definitely book this house again if we find ourselves back in the area!!

The perfect cozy cabin!

Katie and Greg's cabin in the woods was the perfect spot for a getaway birthday celebration with a large group of friends. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need, is comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful woods. Katie and Greg were kind enough to leave us with sleds to play in the snow and came by to plow when a storm came through. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect

Great stay!! The place was exactly what we were looking for for a family getaway. Wood stove was a great touch for evenings and on New Years Day watching Michigan when semi-final of CFP tournament - capped off great weekend. The owners were excellent - whenever we had a question, they responded very quickly. The only drawback was lack of snow for grandkids but the Air Zoo was only 30 minutes away and is a most see.

Amazing Michigan Cabin

This property was spacious for our group of 16. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. The fire pit outside was great for some family time. The woods on the property were fun to walk in. The pool table and fusbol were big hits with the kids. The bunk room downstairs slept 12 kids who cherished the cousin time. The hosts were very helpful and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Getaway

We have a golf get together every year with some friends and family. This year we decided to add a college football game, so we chose Notre Dame (not my decision). We have 8 grown men in our group, and we really enjoyed this cabin. It is very spacious with a lot of amenities you don't often get with rentals. It slept 8 individually very easily with room or several more. The golf courses in the area are some of the nicer ones we have played. The town of Paw Paw is 10 minutes away and has everything you need. Notre Dame is about an hour away and the travel was very easy. I highly recommend this cabin.

Awesome home!!

This house was perfect for our family get together. We had 11 people (ages 3-70) and it was very comfortable and spacious with plenty of room to spare. The decor is super cozy! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances you probably need. Everyone in our party said their beds were comfortable! The property is quiet and secluded - morning coffee on the deck was so peaceful! Plenty of towels to go around for baths/showers! Lots of entertainment for the kids of all ages (games, puzzles, cars/trucks, etc) Super clean! Overall this was an amazing property! The only negatives I can really think of is: It’s more expensive than other properties in the area (still worth it for us and the quality we got!) The master bath/shower water had a smell to it from the septic system but others said their showers did not smell the same. Our internet kept going out - however Katie and Greg were SUPER quick to respond and resetting it for us. Thanks again to Katie and Greg! You guys were amazing hosts and we are so grateful for the family time we had at your place!

Amazing Home!!

This property was even more amazing than it appeared to be online! There was so much room for all 14 of us to be together or to break into smaller groups without being on top of one another. The house is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed walking some trails in the woods and although secluded, we were just a short drive from shopping and outdoor activities. Our hosts made sure we had all we needed during our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone with a large group!

Great Stay!

We had the wedding party stay here for my daughters wedding in Dowagiac. It was a great place for a large group with plenty of space and things to do. The house was large and had enough property for people to go on walks and enjoy the outdoors or spend time in the house relaxing or playing pool. The owner, Kate, was very friendly and responsive and was glad to help with any questions. We plan to come back again for a winery tour soon!

Annual Family Trip

The place was perfect for our group of 15 uncle and male cousins ages 22 - 75. Owners were very responsive and easy to deal with leading up to the visit and everything was exactly as represented. It is a perfect place for groups of 12-20 with plenty of beds and bathrooms. Pool table, Fooseball table, cornhole, and other games available and the remote poker room is a nice place for late night card games. Location is close enough to amenities. Will definitely consider returning.

Michigan Family Vacation

If you’re looking for a place to stay in this area, look no further! This place has it all. Right down to the firewood and outdoor furniture for a relaxing night around the fire. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of room, comfortable beds - beautiful, rustic, well maintained furnishings. Enjoyed the screened in porch and the back balcony. Everything was top notch including our host and hostess. Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. Thank you Katie and Greg!
