Eiger Residence

  • With a front row seat overlooking the famous Jungfrau Mountain, this self-catering apartment at The Eiger Residence is just a stone’s throw from the Wengen train station and is a highlight for those craving mountain views coupled with the convenience of pottering around the village.



    This hotel conversion is delightfully set up with wooden floors, simple Scandi-style white-washed furnishings and Swiss Alpine knickknacks.



    The compact but well-equipped kitchen is fully equipped including fondue and raclette set. Enjoy cozy Winter evenings in around the dining corner or make the most of the long summer days dining alfresco on the balcony.



    The living room offers a generous amount of comfortable seating – just right for enjoying a book, watching tv or planning the next day of sightseeing.



    There are three bedrooms, all with TVs. The main bedroom with king-size (180x200cm) bed has an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom with queen-size (160x200cm) bed and third bedroom with a set of bunk beds (each 90x200cm) both share the family bathroom which includes a bathtub with shower curtain, sink and toilet.



    The apartment is on the second floor with lift.

Incredible location and view

All was very comfortable and incredible! With the fans provided, the outside was silenced. Get up in the morning and open the door to breathe the fresh mountain air. The train, hiking trails, restaurants, groceries… all within a few steps. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful!

The apartment was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, had a nice fully stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture and beds. The views were breathtaking!! The location was perfect with stores and trains just steps from the building. The shower floor needs traction. It was very slippery.

Superb Apartment in brilliant location

The apartment was well equipped with lots of storage .The beds were very comfortable .There was always hot water and the apartment was super clean .The views from the balconies were excellent and the location was superb with a few minutes walk to the Train and Cable car in Wengen Alpine Services were so efficient and friendly . When we had a problem it was dealt with and solved immediately. I don’t think you can

Perfect Location with a wonderful view!

This lovely apartment is just steps from the train station. It was clean and cozy. The view is amazing. The coop (little grocery) store is very close as well as all the other shops. We locked ourselves out late one night and Rachel kindly came and let us in. Nothing

Accommodation par excellence

Simply excellent stay , very responsive staff and accommodating to early checkin and late checkout Simply awesome views from both balconies , fully stocked kitchen with all appliances, coop supermarket opposite and the train station . Very comfortable beds Worth every penny spent !

Family of Four Loved It

The unit is very clean with all expected amenities and an excellent view. We liked the location because it is very close to the train station and coop. There is much activity during the day in the central courtyard. We liked the energy and found it very quiet about 10:00 PM. This might not appeal to all. Service and communication responsiveness was very good but we did not need to call on it much. Highly recommended. The WiFi was inconsistent and required several restart cycles.

Exceeded expectations

It was truly amazing. Way bigger than it looks. Right in the heart of town. Really not loud at all considering it’s right near the train station. The hosts were so accommodating and nice. Will definitely come back again
