Bra hotell og beliggenhet også god seng og frokost. Ulempen var at det var veldig lytt, hørtes ut som om personen i nabo rommet var i samme rom som oss når de snakket.

The room itself was clean, but the sheets and comforters were not. We were grumpily handed another set of sheets that was also stained. We were then handed a third pile of sheets that we sorted through to find clean ones and then had to strip and remake the beds ourselves. We slept without comforters. We were told that the hotel was sold out and there were no spare comforters. Finally, on our last night of a 3-night stay we came back to our room and found our beds had been remade with clean, unstained sheets and comforters.

The upgraded room design is questionable . The choice for on pane of glass covering half the shower leaving the room exposed to mega water on the floor. Was tryong to be careful not to get water outside shower but was unsuccessful. Designer needs to be incharge of cleaning that mess up, along with repairing wood door jam after it rots.

The staff was great, welcoming and helpful. I arrived late at night after a long drive, and they were present and happy to help. Not always the case at midnight check ins. The property was well kept and had personality and charm, and the breakfast was fantastic. I'll be back!

It’s an older place but it reasonably priced and has a decent restaurant/bar and helpful staff. The included breakfast is quite good, far better than what you typically get.

No elevator, stairs difficult to take. This was a challenge for us and our small dog. Did not have room ready when we arrived, 30 minutes after we were assured it was ready by both email and when we checked in. Still had to wait to be put in another room, which was located thanks to staff member Colin-- he was the only staff member who acted with true hospitality. The refrigerator buzzed throughout the day and night. This was all very disappointing as we have stayed at the Century House in past years and looked forward to this stay.

This property had a very historic appeal but with beautiful modern touches! Rooms felt luxurious compared to standard cookie cutter hotels. Front desk staff was personable and friendly. And the free breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh options. Highly recommend!

This is the best hotel we stayed so far. Our room was nice and cozy.. the bed was comfortable and the washroom was clean.. all in all the property was clean and neat.. The staff in the reception was so helpful and welcoming.. He even helped us carry our luggage to our room. They have soup for the day for the guests to enjoy plus coffee and other cold drinks.. They have plenty of choices for breakfast that we enjoy the most.. The farmer’s egg was scrumptious and delicious. They even have egg muffin better than McDonald. Linda the server who was so friendly and nice checked us often, attentive to all the guests needs and even stop for a bit for a little chat.. We will definitely come back again next year God willing for another stay and bring more family members with us.. Thank you so much Century House Hotel.

Beautiful room, unique lamps and wall decorations. Beautiful buffet for breakfast, hot & cold varieties. Coffee in lobby all day and soup as well. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Will be staying again!

Property was clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Desk appeared to be staffed at all times. Clean room. Nice breakfast with very helpful and pleasant staff. Furniture, carpet etc a bit scuffed up looking, lack of signage makes finding the hotel difficult--It looks more like a restaurant.

Apart from the fact that the room wasn't super clean (if you don't have to look under the beds, don't mind if there's hairs in the shower and that the coffee machine wasn't cleaned in the past few months -hello dust-), the staff was super friendly and beds were confortable. Breakfas was good too.

A Fantastic Stay!
My boyfriend and I adored everything about our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and quiet. We stayed in a pet friendly room, which did not bother my allergies at all, unlike many of the other pet friendly rooms I've stayed in. But it's really all of the little extras that make this place really shine: lovely employees, complimentary ice coffee and infused or plain water, a complimentary soup of the day, warm hand towels available in the lobby, and an amazing breakfast buffet. We would come back for that breakfast alone, it was so good! It's also nice that there is a restaurant on the same property, so after a long day of driving, we didn't need to go back out looking for food. The only other feedback that I would give is that while their pet policy is very clear on their website, it is not clear on other sites that you can book your stay through. Both Google and Hotels.com mention that they are pet friendly, but don't mention needing to get a special room or that there is an additional charge of $25 per pet, per night. When you read a hotel's pet policy when searching with Google, most hotels say what their charges are and if there are any size restrictions, so this must be something that the business is able to control. We often travel with our 2 dogs, and those extra charges and policies play a big role in how we choose where we are going to stay, so it's important to us not to have any surprises at check-in.
