Sentralt men noe eldre standard
Sentralt beliggende med kort vei til alt. Hotellet er av eldre dato kontra de andre, så skulle ønske de hadde pusset opp det. Litt eldre rom, spesielt badet.

Rommene er bra, god størrelse og med en god teknisk standard. Hotellet er imponerende, stort og med et flott bassengområde. Prisene er ganske høye både for rom og en del kjøp på området. Resort fee for "free internet and towels" er høy og drar opp prisen vesentlig ved utsjekk, som på de fleste av the Strip hotellene vel og merke. Litt merkelig å få lov til å ha gratis Internett som lokke middel i filtrene. Det største sjokket var etter å ha kjøpt 2 kuler med iskrem ved heisene. 2 stk. ble nærmere $27. Forstår godt at det ikke sto priser noe sted der! Prisene på en vanlig ølboks ved bassenget ligger på rundt $14 med tilleggene. Vi opplevde også å måtte vente 2t på rommet vårt etter offisiell innsjekk kl. 15. Dette var på en tirsdag, som vel er en av de mest stille dagene i uka. Det var ingen kompensasjon eller vilje til å finne et alternativt rom. Det var vel det eneste negative å si om hotell delen. Det kunne ha vært håndtert på en litt bedre måte, og f.eks et tilbud om å slette resort fee for innsjekksdagen som et minimum, den er allerdede tvilsom nok for inn og utsjekk dagene hvor man ofte ikke har mye glede av fasilitetene. Vi venter spent på hvordan konvertering til Hard Rock hotell blir, det var fint å oppleve det gamle en siste gang. Oppholdet var hyggelig og ting fungerte bra underveis.

Nice hotel. Great pool. Be aware that they take 400 dollars in depositum when arriving. Too bad it is allow to smoke in the casino and by the pool. Every thing in the hotel is very overpriced. Food, drinks ++. Some of the staff got mad at us for not tipping ( we did not have any cash). Cleaning personal is very nice. Perfect location. Overall a nice hotel for a nice price. Would stay here again!

Overall it was a good experience. The check in process definitely needs improvement. Our flight arrived in Vegas at 11 am and we were told we could do an early check in and to come back at 3pm to receive the keys to our room because house keeping hadn't cleaned our room yet. We returned at 3pm and had to wait around 45 minutes in line to speak with a representative. The representative then informed us that our room was still not available because the room was "completely trashed" and housekeeping needed extra time to deep clean the room and it would not be ready until 5pm , and then we would receive a text message when it was ready. Once again we waited for a text message that never came. We then went back in line at 5pm and the representative informed us the room was finally ready and we were able to get our room key. The entire day was almost completely wasted waiting for our room and this was very disappointing and stressful. This trip was to celebrate our marriage and we were not happy that it started out this way.

The check-in line was ridiculously long with only 2 or 3 people staffing the registration desk. The process took nearly an hour; completely unacceptable. I realize The Mirage will be closing mid-July so they don’t care. We were also given a room with 2 queens instead of a king as promised. We did like The Still and The Pantry for drinks and meals.

Location is great., right in the center of the strip. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Unlike certain hotels, daily room service n cleaning is available. One issue which I m not happy about is the Steakhouse restaurant. I went for dinner there. The front staffs told me it is full n I need to wait for 40 minutes n will text me. After 40 minutes, there was no text from them. So I went back to the restaurant to enquire. She told me the table is still not available. The table she mentioned was actually at the bar where customers eat n drink. I peeped inside and there was a table for 7available. It was past 9 pm and she said the table is only meant for group of 7. At another side there were 2 empty tables with no reserved signs n she said those tables are also not meant for dining. I was not happy and keep pressing her for answers which she can’t answer me. Then she called another staff. She claimed that she texted me but cannot get through. She told me my table is available. She actually took me to a proper dining room inside. To my surprise, When I went in there were 20 tables n only 2 are occupied. What type of service is this? There are so many vacant tables n they let me wait for 40 minutes n wanted to put me at the bar instead of a proper dining room. When I finished eating, I walked out n the 2 tables by the side which I mentioned earlier were occupied and customers were eating n drinking there.

A bit outdated. Had to complain for 2 full days and 2 nights and had to speak to over 10 people before they agreed to switch rooms. The original one had this bad humming sound that kept me awake. After speaking to engineering they told me it was an electrical humming coming from the mechanical room at least 4-5 doors down. That same room had an awful plumbing sound when other units were emptying their bath or taking shower some vibrations in the shower pipe. I paid a bit extra for the Resort Tower room to get a better view (24-25 th floor). Those apparently have nicer/larger bathroom and are supposed to be renovated. My original room had a “nice” view overlooking the highway, the parking and the train tracks … and yes, those trains blow their horns at night when crossing the city. So beware, if you’re a light sleeper like me. The second room they gave had no issues and overlooked the strip. I believe this hotel was purchase by the Hard Rock Group so expect loud rock music blasting on the main floor (Casino section) even in the morning. The bottom line: conveniently located on the strip, inexpensive vs other surrounding hotels but a bit outdated. Once I was able to get to a manager, everything was settle to my satisfaction but I can’t get over the fact that I had to waste so much energy to just switch room in a hotel that big and with that much turnover. I would book there again because of the price and cross my fingers for a good room and in the Resort Tower/suites.

awful service. no TV service. maintenance came. rebooted service. stopped working within 10 minutes. next day door keys didn't work. got new keys. still didn't work. housekeeping tried her master key. still didn't work. she called maintenance. 45 minutes later we were still waiting for someone to show up. I was sitting on the floor with a laundry bag filled with ice. I also needed to get into the room to take my insulin shot. another 30 minutes goes by. A security guy finally shows up. 15 minutes later the door is opened remotely. we are told to pack up. we are being moved to another room. 30 minutes later, security and the 2 of us are still waiting for keys to the new room. It is now 4:30pm. we are going to The Sphere. We would like to clean up. have a relaxed, nice dinner and then walk over to The Sphere at 6pm. doors open at 6:30pm. concert starts at 7:30pm. we finally get keys, go in. bathroom faucet leaks and tv says no service! It is a good thing The Mirage is closing voluntarily. with this level of service, knowing I needed an insulin shot as well as to lay down, elevate and ice my leg, (knee reconstruction), and the lack of concern for a quests medical needs is appalling. But, as your staff demonstrated, you clearly don't give a damn. I can't imagine the response if I went into diabetic shock. Leave me lay on the floor for close to another 2 hours?
