Great Location EXCELLENT HOST!!

The house was lovely and comfortable for our visit, any problems and the host took care of it right away It is the perfect location to the strip but still just far enough away that it is quite and peaceful no “city” noise, lovely neighbourhood with friendly helpful neighbours (when we had a flat battery in car they went out of their way to help us) Only thing I could fault for the entire stay is the beds are a bit flat and hard All in all I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Las Vegas!!!!

Beautiful! Perfect for families!

This home was so nice! The living and family rooms are comfortable. The kitchen had just the right appliances to make full meals and so many useful dishes! The TVs in every room were wonderful. I did not have to fight for the remote! This home is very peaceful. I enjoyed sitting by the pool and reading. Stores and eateries are extremely close and the LA Strip is less than 10 minutes away! Thank you for opening your lovely home.

100% as advertised

A real pleasure meeting Merc. The house had all we needed and was just as advertised. Sure, it would be nice if the pool and whirlpool were heated but it plainly states they are not so this is not a complaint just know it may be too cool to swim much. The house was very clean. We went to the strip several times and it was about a $15-$20 Uber ride.

Peaceful and Memorable!

The owner is such a wonderful man. This is one of the best experiences I've had in using Homeaway! His home is stunning and loaded with everything needed to make the stay cozy, peaceful and memorable. I will definitely stay again and tell family and friends about him. Thanks Mr. Boykins and Homeaway for a great getaway weekend!!!!!

Clean and spacious rental home in good neighborhood, provided by a very friendly owner

The rental home is clean and spacious, and decorated with obvious love for detail. The neighborhood is very quiet, no police sirens here going off all the time :-) Furthermore the owner received us in person, and explained the amenities of the property to us, and also asked us here and then if everything is ok and if we are feeling well. This is a definitive plus compared to other rentals we had in the past, where you could be happy to receive a door code. We were also allowed to use the garage, which also cannot be taken for granted in other rentals. The location of the house near E Harmon and S Eastern is perfect from our point of view, far enough away from the Strip and McCarran Airport to have peace and silence, but near enough to major streets to reach everything easily by car. The Strip can be reached via Tropicana, and there is a huge Walmart Supercenter down S Eastern Ave. So the daily needs can be satisfied easily during the stay. It was a wonderful stay at this property, we can recommend it and would book this property again.

Comfortable and CLEAN

We couldn't have been more pleased with our recent experience at this lovely Las Vegas rental. Merc and his wife greeted us upon arrival. It was immediately evident that this couple takes great pride in making sure their guests have everything they need. The home is beautifully decorated with high quality mattresses ( a plus for us) and attention to detail, including flashlights hanging near the bedroom doors. While it was a bit chilly during our stay, our grandkids enjoyed sitting around the pool and wading in a bit. The well manicured back yard was a lovely place for all eight of us to enjoy some sunshine.The home offers a split floor plan with the master bedroom and bath to one side and the two remaining bedrooms on the other side. This was perfect for our needs. My daughter and son-in-law and their family were on one end of the house and my husband and I on the other end. We have rented nearly 2 dozen vacation homes in various states accross the US and Canada in the last decade, and this home ranks among the very best!

Stay was for business. Great to have a retreat away from the strip. Merc was wonderful, starting with the personal attention to our comfort settling in, to all the help he provided along the way, to the final checkout. We would highly recommend this property.

Perfect Place for a Trade Show Vegas Stay - Super Clean

A really great house to stay at if you want to be off the strip and working a trade show all week. The owner is an amazing guy and has everything you need already set up when you get there.

This home offered all the comforts of home and more!

The home was very comfortable and clean. Flat screens in each bedroom, and living area! Well manicured yard, and beautifully inviting pool and jacuzzi. We didn't have to buy basic bath nor kitchen supplies, and loved that the cabinets contained basic staples (I.e coffee and supplies)!!! Our girlfriend weekend memories are even more memorable!!!!

Perfect stay in a perfect location

The house is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood, close to the strip and to many shopping locations. We really enjoyed our stay - very nice house, spacious, great pool, well maintained, and a very friendly owner. If we come back to Las Vegas, we will definitively stay there again.

Clean, spacious all the amenities that is needed to cook at home if you want and to relax

Merc was very helpful with details of the property and even gave us an option of another that he had available. The house was very clean, uncluttered and spacious- it even had an air hockey game the kids loved. The pictures online did not give the home the justice deserved - Merc cares about his property and it shows. Although he was unable to meet us initially when we arrived, as he was visiting his daughter in the service, Rachel was very helpful and got us all settled in. Merc was always available via text or phone to assist us in things around the area or to tell us the pool man would be by to clean the pool. Everything was within minutes from the home. Casinos, stores, restaurants etc. The home was just the right size for our family and the kids enjoyed the pool- morning, afternoon or evening lots of fun to be able to decompress from the events of the day. The neighborhood was quiet and safe- we went out for daily walks every morning with no issues. When we decided to come to Las Vegas we didn't want to stay in a hotel on the strip- this gave us exactly what we needed and enough distance from the strip for the quiet we were looking for. We saw the show Ka by Cirque du soleil- it was a great performance and worth the money. We also went to the Shark reef- that was fun but not sure if I'd spend the money again. The amusement park at Circus Circus was good as well- all the kids enjoyed it and all day passes were about $30. Everyone thought the week went too fast and wanted to stay longer. Thank you Merc for making our stay successful and unforgettable - we hope to come back - there's a lot more that we didn't get to see!

Clean, comfortable, spacious

My organization had a conference in Las Vegas and Merc and his lovely wife was there to greet us and gave us a tour. We enjoyed ourselves and is in a great location. Merc made sure we were comfortable and,let was very prompt with answering questions. And the pool was the icing on the cake. I will definitely try to stay again when I return to Vegas.

FANTASTIC!

Merc, Thank you and your family for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. The 50th Wedding Anniversary was an outstanding success. The home had everything we could have wanted and then some. There was something for everyone, games, the pool, movies, WIFI, relaxation, casinos, and I must say the air hockey game was well used. The home is very spacious, nicely decorated, clean, in a good neighborhood and well laid out with surprisingly large bedrooms. The pool was a dream and we were thankful to have it. Proximity to the strip (approx 10 to 15 minutes) and shopping a few blocks away made this the perfect location for all to enjoy. Thank you for everything you did to make our stay most comfortable, it was a pleasure. I would highly recommend this home and anyone of us would be happy to rent it again. Hope to see you again soon as we would not want to stay anywhere else.

Home away from home

This house has a great setup for visiting and hanging out. Our family is scattered across the country and we were able to catch up in comfort. The owner is super nice and responsive. My family really enjoyed the added bonus of a pool and air hockey! Thanks Merc for a memorable 70th birthday trip!

Highly recommend! Clean house, owner is awesome, and good location!!

I must say this was the smoothest home rental I have ever had as far as issues go. 1st of all Merc (owner) communicated immediately and was very respectful of the fact that my flight was very early and he accommodated my early check in. He then met my friends and I with open arms and said if we needed anything to let him know. Can't go wrong with this one, pool was very clean and we had a blast. Thanks again Merc and we will be in contact on my next visit, keep up the good work!

Wonderful place.

Dear All. I enjoyed staying here with my friends. It surpassed my expectations. Mr, Boykins family was so nice and he was ready to help us for minor matters. I strongly recommend to stay here. Awesome vacation spot!

I rented this home for my son's graduation trip to Vegas with a few of his friends. The home is beautiful, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The house is very close to the strip and stores. The owner was amazing! Very nice and responsive. I'd definitely visit this home again.

Amazing wedding in Las Vegas!!!

We planned our wedding in Las Vegas and decided to rent a house instead of a hotel. We were delightedly surprised with the property, though there were pictures online, it looked better in person. Mercier the owner, granted us when we arrived late at night, he was very friendly and helpful. The house was very clean and we felt at home as soon as we walked in. The beds were cozy and comfortable, we had no trouble sleeping. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. The pool was great for the kids and the rest of the family. The property was with in all the destinations we had; wedding chapel, airport, hoover damn, down town strip and shopping. It was very convenient. Renting the house made our wedding and trip to Las Vegas a fabulous experience. Mercier offered an amazing house for a competitive rate, we would definitely rent again, we look forward to it. Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Guerrero and family thank Mercier and his family for their hospitality!

A true Home Away From Home!!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This is a beautiful and clean home, located within a short drive to airpot, strip, shopping, dining, and freeway. Merc was a gracious and kind host, and very easy to work with. We had a late flight that was delayed due to weather, so I texted Merc to let him know we would be arriving later. He was very understanding. We got to the house around 1:30am, and Merc was very pleasant, and took his time to show us around the house. We even found a birthday cake waiting for my son in the refrigerator!! Very sweet!! The kitchen has everything you would need to prepare a home cooked meal and more. We enjoyed the lovely back yard and pool, and the air hockey table was an added bonus. Everything you need to have a comfortable stay is available in this house. It is well maintained and clean! I would definitely recommend this home, and I'm looking forward to renting it again for my next Vegas trip!!
