Overall it was a good stay. The house was very clean and cozy, nicely decorated, and the host was responsive to messages. Here's the frustrations I ran into: 1. Ahead of our stay I asked the host if there were towels and toys for the pool. She said there were plenty of towels. We found plenty of towels for showering, but not extra towels for the pool. We couldn't find any toys for the pool, nor a skimmer to get the (normal and to be expected) bugs and floating debris from nearby plants and trees. The pool is not heated, which was okay since there ended up being a heat wave the weekend we were there, but the kids did not utilize the pool as much as they initially wanted to. 2. We needed to utilize the pull-out couch in the living room and searched everywhere for linens but couldn't find any. We did find an extra blanket in the coat closet and one in the main bedroom closet, so we used one as a sheet and the other as a blanket and used one of the pillows from the main bedroom.3. The kitchen was the perfect size, but we couldn't find any cooking dishes that were oven-safe. We finally found one half-size cookie sheet in the slide out drawer under the oven, it was dirty (looked like spilled dish soap), but we got it cleaned up and used it. The size made the cooking time for our large group longer, but it functioned. There were also no oven mitts or hot pads, we used dish cloths. After dinner, I couldn't find any containers or plastic wrap for putting leftovers in the fridge.
