Dirty rooms and bad service!
Incredibly bad service at check-in. Few staff and long queues to check in. The first room was incredibly dirty, loose nails by the bed and soda corks on the floor. Dusty and disgusting. Dirty carpets on the floors and dirty bathroom. Complained about the room and showed them a picture but only got a sour face back. Got a new room, but not with a regret. Just the card roughly thrown back. Was supposed to keep a suitcase, was sent out of the hotel to find someone outside. Was also met there by a grumpy employee. Was told to put ourselves in place to wait for people. Expensive stay to have such a low standard as this. Not recommended, until it is possibly renovated and the employees should be better service minded!!

Was told that my room would be available for check in at 4pm. Flight lands at 10pm and we arrive for check in to be told that they overbooked the hotel and myself and at 30 other people in line that we don’t have a room ready. It took an additional hour for them to give me a different room to what I had booked, my friend who also had a room there was sent to an entirely different hotel and told they needed to leave that other hotel by 10 to check back in at the horshoe. From that to the time wasted again the next day getting the room I originally booked and paid for, they did nothing to compensate for the trouble and time wasted. I asked for a late check out to make up for it and they said it would be $50 for an extra 2 hours. Shower was dirty n both rooms with pictures to prove it. Ridiculous

Our room had cobwebs with dust hanging off of them, dirty base boards, dirty doors and peeling wall paper. The ice bucket bag was never changed. The hotel definitely deteriorated since last year.

This was our first time staying in vegas and we absolutely LOVED it! the horseshoe was smack in the center of the strip and we were able to walk everywhere! the location of this hotel was immaculate, and the price was ever BETTER! even if you don’t want to go far, the hotel itself has SO much to do and room for exploration! definitely give it a try on your next time in!

Did my homework. Read a gazillion reviews for the Horseshoe and other properties as I had not been to Las Vegas in a long time. I had stayed at “Ballys” in the past. Took a deep breath and booked 4 nights at the Horseshoe … and it was the PERFECT choice! To address some of the issues noted in the reviews … 1) check-in was EASY and QUICK using the kiosk - I recommend this even for a tech-phobes (they have people there to help you if you need them), 2) never had a problem with slow elevators, always got one within a minute, 3) my room on floor 11 was spotlessly clean (no “snakes” … per one review), very comfy bed, dead quiet at night and blackout drapes that worked, 4) GREAT water pressure in the shower, perfect AC as I wanted it, 5) mini-frig was cold … true - no “coffee service” but I brought a hot pot and made my own (duh!), 6) internet was FAST for 2 devices, and 7) check out was quick per the kiosk (and you can check your bags for free for the day!). Best part … CENTER STRIP!!! Location, location, location! I walked to everything. My room was on the north side of the building facing the sphere so I had a sphere-show every night! That thing is very entertaining! Worst part … LOTS of smoking in the casino. Just yuck! But since the Horseshoe is connected to Paris I just ran through into Paris which had MUCH better air … or bring a gas mask for when you have to walk through the casino :) Overall, the Horseshoe was a winner and worked for me! I highly recommend it!!!

Great location. We have stayed at the Horseshoe Las Vegas 4 times. This year we noticed it was beginning to look run down and not as well kept. The hallway carpet on our floor was not vacuumed once in the week we stayed. We were very annoyed with the wifi as we had to phone tech support everyday to get reconnected. After paying a high resort fee we felt we did not get the service we expected. There were 2 days that house keeping did not come in and clean our room. It’s unlikely we’ll be staying at the Horseshoe again.

Caught blackjack dealers cheating, and the only response from management and pit boss was “yeah that’s messed up”. I have a random $400 charge, on top of all the other charges to my credit card that can’t be explained as to why. When I checked in, the staff refused me accommodations I was promised when booking, and it wasn’t until I threatened to rebook my stay that they cooperated. Just wasn’t impressed. Won’t be staying again unless it’s my only option.

2,5 h beim Check in gewartet. Dusche total dreckig mit toten Fliegen, die mit dem Putzen nicht entfernt wurden, sondern einfach an einer anderen Stelle auftauchten. Zimmer war vom Fahrstuhl schnell zu erreichen. 50 Dollar Resort Fee und 20 Dollar Parkgebühren einfach unverschämt.

Horseshoe is definitely one of the better Caesars properties when compared ti Linq, Harrahs, and Flamingo. The room was sizable with a decent shower, though it is still due for another remodel as there are many scuffs and wears & tears on all the furniture. I will say the bed was actually quite exceptional. The elevators on the other hand were terrible and on one day it completely stopped working. This place would not be my first choice to stay a, but for impacted weekends, it is not a bad choice for a comfortable room. View is also very underrated if you are facing the highroller and sphere.
