We have a sweet retreat. A home, surrounded by woods on 5 acres, creating a secluded haven; yet only 10 minutes from Lapeer.

You will have a 1-bedroom suite with a private entrance and fully stocked kitchen. Come and make yourself at home!

A long driveway through the woods, takes you into clearing, where you can experience the great outdoors year-round. It is park-like with lots of wildlife.

Enjoy campfires – we supply the wood and fire starters!
The space
We can sleep up to 4 in our walkout basement, using a queen bed in the bedroom, and air mattresses or sofa in living room.

There is a electric fireplace for warmth and ambiance.

The kitchen is equipped with brand new appliances - fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is even a waffle iron and a small crockpot.

We live upstairs and are available most of the time if you need anything.

The City of Lapeer is a quaint rural city called the Gateway to the Thumb. There is a Town Square, Farmers Market on Saturday and Wednesday and many unique shops and restaurants.

When Lapeer International Dragway is running, it is noisy.
As my special needs son said “SOMEBODY'S having some FUN!”
Other things to note
The thermometer is controlled upstairs. If you want more air conditioning or heat, you can open the vents in the ceiling. (in bedroom and dining room)

Summer- we have a fan in the bedroom closet.
Winter- we have an electric fireplace, and a space heater in the closet.

Also we have extra throws to cuddle up in. The temperature has never been a problem, but we want to be sure you are comfortable, so please let us know!
