Back at the cottage, spend your days fishing, swimming, or soaking up the sun on the spacious patio. Exactly as pictured and described. Even better than that actually. The massage chair was awesome, hot tub was great, had a fire outside in the fire pit each night. Kitchen had everything and more that we needed. Hopefully the girls weekend next year will be available as they would love to come back to this fantastic property. Thank you !

The cabin was clean and stocked with all of our needs! A relaxing environment with space for us all! Our host, Shannon was amazing. Very easy to communicate with and flexible with my requests. The lake was clean and warm. A great stay for our family to be able to come watch our nephew play hockey. We would definitely recommend and reserve this place again!

We had such a great time here. I want to say that even though I rated 4 stars, that this could easily be a 5 star stay every single time. My family and I would 100% come back and stay again. This was a beautiful home and area. Shannon was also extremely accommodating. We had an issue getting the door code (it was not sent to us in advance) to get into the property which was apparently a vrbo issue, so we had to contact Shannon to be let in, and she was very helpful and apologetic. The only downsides were that the air conditioning was set and locked at 76, and the ceiling fan in our room was making an extremely loud scraping noise, so it was impossible to keep cool the first night. We had to contact Shannon for the code to the thermostat to turn it down, which she gave to us early in the morning. Definitely get that in advance if needed! Additionally there was a slight ant problem, so don’t leave any food out on the counter (even in containers, ours was all contained and still attracted them somehow). Other than these hiccups, you’ve got a 5 star experience and host! Thanks Shannon, would love to stay again sometime.

This cabin had the potential to be a great rental. The backyard patio leading to the lake was an amazing space for playing in the lake (seaweed up close to shore, but you could swim past it to be in sand and still not deep), fishing, kayaking, grilling, hot tub, and bonfire. The massage chair is a great way to unwind in the evenings. The part that left a negative thought for this rental. When we arrived 3:50pm we waited for the 4 people (including Shannon the host) to finish cleaning, we spoke with them but not once did she introduce herself as the host or who she was, we just assumed they were a cleaning crew. We were informed she had just put a lot of chemicals in the hot tub as they were leaving, so we could not use it for 4 hours (I had 4 kids wanting in it). The dishwasher was full of dishes, 2 of 3 trash cans in the kitchen still had trash in them, coffee pot still had coffee in it, the pot I intended to cook with had mold in it. I was only there 2 nights and did not go on vacation to clean up after others. I did call Shannon, whom was quick to answer and very friendly to speak with, however just gave excuses that they only had 4 hours to get the house ready for us. 4 people in 4 hours should have had a less than 1,000 sq ft home clean. She continuously said she learned her lesson and needs to block off time for cleaning, and I hope she has. Also not sure why hot tub chemicals weren’t put in at the start of their cleaning so we could have used it at check in.

Family stay

We booked Friday and Saturday night, but came in on Saturday morning. We had a wedding to attend, so we weren’t on the property for much time. We booked this location due to the spa, as we looked forward to coming back from the reception and relaxing in the tub. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get it to heat up. Never got it past 88 degrees, which was way too cold for the cool evening it was. I think it may have been faulty, as host said it was new. It was disappointing. Other than that it was a cute little cottage and accommodated our needs.
