I stayed at this hotel for 7 days after more than 24 hours of traveling, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the very beginning. We had booked two rooms and had contacted the hotel in advance to ensure everything would be ready upon arrival. Despite this, neither room was ready when we got there.
We had paid for an all-inclusive package, but many dishes were not actually included, leaving us with a very limited menu. On top of that, there were only two restaurants available, which made the dining experience quite repetitive.
Both rooms had a very unpleasant smell. I reported this to reception, but nothing was done to resolve the issue during our stay. Overall, the hotel feels very outdated and poorly maintained. It is marketed as a Westin property, but upon arrival, everything is branded as Marriott, which was confusing and misleading.
Cleanliness was also a major issue. The rooms were not properly cleaned, and the furniture on the balcony was in a disgusting condition. As someone who enjoys quiet mornings with coffee in the sun, this was impossible—the property is heavily occupied by monkeys, which made it uncomfortable to relax outside.
The beach was average at best. The sunbeds were in very poor condition, and the towels seemed old and worn out, with an unpleasant smell as well.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not return.
