«The hotel is well-run, peaceful, comfortable and clean, and the staff is very attentive and friendly and tried their best to help and take care of me. They helped me arrange the hiring of an electrical bicycle (you definitely need a vehicle on the island). The bed was super comfortable. Still, I won’t recommend the hotel if you don’t speak Chinese. It was too complicated to communicate and arrange things, such as arrival time (the reception not open all day). They can only be reached by phone... ...

«There isn't a on site counter staff. To pay for the check in or to get their breakfast, it was a 15 min walk in the pouring rain, or under the hot humid air, to get to their counter in another hotel. You can see their other main building (which had the check in service) while standing on the hill, but walking in between the buildings in the rain, we all got lost in the alleys, because their main building wasn't visible on the streets. «Very unique local indigenous design, spacious with three king beds (one on the floor level, two on the second floor) and a living area ( we booked 6-person room). Staff and owners are very friendly. Location is a bit far from the pier, need to rent scooters or call taxi (very long waiting for taxi) on the island. But it is close to a small beach where we saw sea turtles (amazing), and a bar and bbq restaurant. My only complaint is that they do not provide bath towels (only small facial towels). ...
