Cottage On The Lake:

This beautiful cottage on the lake is the perfect family getaway with a private dock and huge Covered fire pit. When you arrive by boat you will dock directly in front of the cottage. Just up the boat ramp is this gorgeous little three level home, an expansive deck to bbq, dine and take in those breathtaking views. Just off the deck is a huge covered fire pit for sitting and making memories with family and friends while making S'mores. Enter the front door to the Living / kitchen space with the fully stocked kitchen, couch, and dining area. When it's time to turn in You have a bedroom on the main level with a twin bed, upstairs the master bedroom has a king bed with views of the lake, bedroom #2 has a queen bed then you have two queen beds in the loft which is the third level. The loft is mostly used for kids due to the ladder to access and low ceiling height. Outside you will find hiking trails behind the fire pit to enjoy the forest ands also a couple kayaks on the deck for your enjoyment but don't forget your life jackets.



Tenmile Lake is the largest and southernmost of a chain of lakes along the Oregon Coast south of the Umpqua River in the United States. The chain includes North Tenmile, Eel, Clear, and smaller lakes, which drain into the Pacific Ocean via Tenmile Creek. The lake is 8 miles south of Reedsport and 0.5 miles east of U.S. Route 101 near the community of Lakeside.

Tenmile Lake and North Tenmile Lake combined have been called "a premier largemouth bass fishery. In addition to largemouth bass, the shallow dendritic lakes with their complicated shorelines support populations of brown bullhead, bluegill, black crappie, coastal cutthroat trout, and stocked rainbow trout. Bass-catching tournaments are common at these lakes, and experts are able to catch 20 to 50 largemouth a day that weigh 2 to 5 pounds.

The two lakes, connected by the North Lake Canal, are used for boating, waterskiing, and swimming, as well as fishing. In Lakeside, near the outlet of Tenmile Lake, Coos County manages Tenmile Lakes Park. It has boat ramps, docks, a fish-cleaning stand, picnic tables, horseshoe courts, restrooms, and other amenities.
