Look no further!
This is a truly beautiful property! The home was comfortable and well stocked. A somewhat secluded location perfectly situated on the shore. Communication with Todd was spectacular, very responsive. My only regret is that we didn’t use the sauna more, the post swim in Lake Superior is an experience. I look forward to retuning soon!

Trip to MTU
This was a great property for us and our 2 Tech kids. We were able to cook meals and had enough room in the living room/dining room. Beds were comfy. With the extremely mild winter we even walked the beach! There was a cleaning issue that we found due to the last renter's being inconsiderate but the owner was very attentive and had a cleaner come out to figure out the next steps. We hope to come back in the summer if we can.

Cozy Lake Getaway in UP Winter
We loved our stay so much! The striking views of lake superior. The cozy wood stove. The wood fired sauna. Perfect homebase for exploring the winter wonderland that is the UP!! Todd was super kind and helpful during out stay.

Relaxing family get away
The communication from booking to check out was amazing. The property was as described and the view phenomenal. From cool dips in Lake Superior, warming up in the sauna or traversing all the Keewenaw has to offer led to a fantastic family get away. This property is on my list to return to.

Keweena paradise
The online information was very accurate. But seeing it in person exceeded our expectations. It was a beautiful location and view. We would love to go back when the weather is warmer. We were there the second weekend in October and the colors were perfect, the sauna was a great way to warm up with a jump into Lake Superior. We explored McLain State Park, Tobacco Park, School Craft Park, and Canyon Falls on the way home. There aren't words for how beautiful it was to experience.

Relaxation by Lake Superior
Cute cottage with all that you need for a relaxing disconnect. Love hearing the waves and taking walks along the beach. We were visiting our son who goes to Mich Tech and he stayed with us for a couple of nights. It was fall so the leaves were turning and the drive to and from the cottage was beautiful.

Beautiful property!
We loved the cabin! The location is pretty remote, but so peaceful and quiet! Walking the beach and using the sauna- so relaxing! The adult bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs- which was the only downside for us older folks. Loved our stay!

Superior views!
Great property with the best sand beach and Lake Superior views…close enough the even hear the crashing waves while sleeping! Very comfortable property with everything we needed and reasonably priced. So appreciative of the pet friendliness - our doggies had a blast too. As a bonus the couch was quite comfortable and the kayaks were a fun unexpected option. Its a gravel road but easy to get there in any vehicle. We would definitely stay again!

Great Week At The Beach House
My spouse and I stayed one week at the beautiful beach house. We truly enjoyed our stay. Our Labradors absolutely loved the beach! The location was perfect. We toured the area. Quincy mine was cool. I highly recommend Slims Cafe in Mohawk for breakfast. Loved the history and beauty of the Keweenaw peninsula. The house had everything we needed plus. The outside hammocks were a pleasant surprise! We used the sauna twice. Its very nice! The bed was so comfy. Having a washer/dryer and vacuum cleaner available was perfect. Love, love!

Many guests say the best days are when they don't leave the house. Having all that you need at the house plus a few pleasant surprises are keys to having a great stay. Having a comfortable bed is one of the most basic requirements when traveling!

The sunrise over the lake was spectacular! We also enjoyed the birds and eagle (that was fishing). It was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of work. Hope to make it back next year!

Lake Superior Cabin
Cute place… beautiful location on a sandy beach. All the amenities we needed were there. Nice base camp to explore the Keweenaw. Consider bringing drinking water as the well water was a tad yellow and sulfer smelling. Fine for showers and dishes. Never did find the TV.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and you found everything you needed. During the winter and spring there is low water usage which may result in the water having a slight taste. This spring we will add a whole-house water filter which should make an improvement.

Best beach cabin
This was a great cabin with tons of useful amenities especially the sauna. Since our visit included a fresh winter storm, we made the most of the wood stove. The owner was responsive to requests during our stay. We started talking about coming back.

The view!
I do not have the words to describe the view from the back deck. I had no idea that Lake Superior is so beautiful. The house has everything you could need as far as board games, puzzles, etc. The house is beautiful. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation in U.P. look no further. The host was very helpful when I needed information about the weather and road conditions. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Lake Superior cabin
The cabin and owner were fabulous. The view is stunning and it is so peaceful there. The road coming in was rough and soggy, glad we had 4 wheel drive! I would love to come back in the future. It's only about 30 min. From MTU, so a nice getaway if visiting Houghton.

Beach plus snow still awesome!
We stayed during a trip to visit Mi Tech. The house was very clean, kitchen well stocked, and had gorgeous views. Although it was too cold to really appreciate the lake, we saw beautiful stars at night. The house was cozy and warm. We had great communication with the hosts. We hope to come back to jump in the lake!

The property matched the description exactly and was very nice! Great views of the lake, plenty of firewood for the sauna and wood stove inside. No neighbors on one side of the property makes the place feel extra secluded. Especially happy with how comfortable the beds were.

Quiet cute cabin
Cabin is located right on the Lake Superior. It's warm, comfortable, very quiet, we haven't seen even neighbors. Be aware that road leading to that place is not for all cars.. at least during November it had lots of water on sides. It was not a problem for our Jeep. Owner left a sweet card and gift for us. We are hoping to be back at summer time!

Wonderful time away!
We absolutely loved staying at this little beach house. The weather wasn't that great however, the wood stove kept us warm. It is situated right on the beach with plenty of places to walk to. All that you would ever need to cook and just hang out are furnished. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Stay
This little gem on Lake Superior was just what we needed. We were in the area to visit our son who attends Michigan Tech. This little getaway served that purpose and so much more. Located directly on the beach of lake Superior, we saw beautiful sunrises every morning. We feel asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the shore (it was a windy weekend). The owner thought of everything, from books and games to skewers for s'mores. We used the sauna and then jumped into the lake afterwards. It was absolutely invigorating. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. We were able to relax and recharge. This was a fantastic experience!

Brisk enjoyable mornings spent on the large deck sipping coffee watching the beautiful ever changing sunrises. Afternoons spent playing in the sand and water with our 14 month old and dogs. Exceptional stay!
So. Much. Fun. This beach house and location couldn’t have been more perfect for my husband and me. The home was as pictured and described: Clean, cozy, and well-equipped. We got a good dose of what we went for: relaxation and adventure. The lake water is to die for, pure, glassy, sometimes rolling and heaving, sometimes perfectly serene, offering up a beautiful morning to kayak her shoreline. The sauna was such a treat! Clean and easy to use. Day trips on the fun windy roads to Copper Harbor, night trips to Eagle River for a sunset, stunning views of the Aurora Borealis all added up to a Superior stay. We’ve already booked for next summer!

Amazing!!
This place is amazing!! The cabin itself is super clean, cozy and well cared for. It is right on the most beautiful Lake Superior beach we have ever seen. The extras include kayaks, paddleboard, bikes, hammocks and of course that awesome sauna. Everything was in good condition and easy to make use of. We spent a couple days of our 2 week vacation here doing a few day trips. Copper Harbor, Lake Linden historical museum, Quincey mine tour were all enjoyable but even if none of that was available, we could easily have been happy hanging out at the house and enjoying nature at its finest. The owner was super responsive and easy to communicate with. And to top it off we were able to bring our pups, who also had a great time. Absolutely wonderful!

Memorable Stay
Our family loved our “staycation” at this cabin . It was so peaceful and relaxing, yet only 40 minutes from our home. It has the most beautiful beach in the area and a great, private spot. We loved swimming and taking saunas daily. The cabin provided a lot of conveniences of home so we didn’t have to pack a lot of extras (even with a little one). Todd is a gracious host and responds quickly to questions. It was a most wonderful week and we would love to return.

Great Stay
It was all about the beach for this stay. Even though the water was still a little chilly, we spent the majority sitting by the water with our kids playing in the sand. We all enjoyed using the paddle board that was available and there were plenty of toys for the kids. House was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous!
We were looking to get far, far away from day-to-day life. I found this place on VRBO and it was magical. It's right on the beach, quite literally. We kept the windows opened and listened to the waves crash in to shore and we even caught the northern lights. The place was clean and cute and we had a fantastic time.

Graduation housing
Cabin was clean and cozy, the view was spectacular. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, so we really couldn't enjoy the beach, and it being end of April, there was still snow on the ground which made the drive to the cabin very messy. Didn't realize that it was that far out, not the best to have to travel back and forth to Hancock, otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Absolutely perfect escape
We were looking for a beautiful place to unplug and relax and Todd’s cabin was perfect. We enjoyed a winter wonderland, snowshoeing and exploring, relaxing by the fire, and soaking up warmth in the sauna. We slept like babies and left completely refreshed. Thank you, Todd, for being so responsive and ensuring we had plenty of firewood. We plan to return!
