Being a new construction, the property was clean, comfortable and everything was in working order. However, the property is not as described as being steps to the lake. Beaches, dining and shopping were all a short drive away. The beach that is part of the neighborhood association is clean, but small. We enjoyed Riviera beach in Geneva, it cost 10 per person for entry and has lifeguards on duty. Parking on side streets is free and just a short walk to the town center. There is metered parking in the downtown area that is inexpensive. Be sure to pack your own beach items like towels/blankets and toys. These are not provided. There is a mini-split cooling unit in just one bedroom and another up in the loft area. These worked well overall. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but not the main living area. One bedroom and the main living area felt stuffy at times. A fan would make a difference here. We liked the fire pit offered on the property. We had to purchase the firewood and tools for roasting marshmallows. We also had to purchase a lighter as well because the one left in the kitchen was dead. We cooked for ourselves one night and the kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner. The kitchen offers a coffee pot and local ground coffee is provided, but no coffee filters. It’s the little things that would have made the difference between a nice stay and a great stay. Overall, my family enjoyed our time in Lake Geneva and would recommend to others.
