«We were greeted promptly and with a friendly smile when we arrived. We were shown to our room and given information about the amenities. We rented a golf cart from them at $15/hr. This is a family run b. We met most of the family and they were all great and helpful.»

«The hotel was clean and I liked the idea of no carpet. However, there were things that for the price need to be addressed. 1-no Kleenex in the room 2-cheap residential blinds. As soon as the sun was up the room was incredibly bright. 3-no coffee pot in the room 4-ice maker was broken 5-shower is incredibly small 6-towels were cheap and dingey 7-one bar of soap - a minimum of two are needed (sink and shower)»

«We stayed for one night and the room was terrible the blankets were dirty like someone stepped on them, the AC unit was falling apart and in the ground, the bathroom light did not work at all, toilet paper holder was broken and falling apart, tv barely worked and could not charge our phones, told staff and they said “We will note it down for maintenance” then walked away. Would not recommend staying here not help at all.»

«When we arrived to check in at 4pm, there was a note to call a phone number on the reception desk. No answer. Left a message. After about 10 minutes got a message that the receptionist would be right there. After another 10 minutes, she arrived and gave us our keys. The hotel had no bicycles for free use as mentioned online. The pool was dirty and the next morning, it was closed for "maintenance". No bars of soap in the bathroom. «The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay.»

«The room keys seem to get demagnetized very easily and multiple people were locked out of the back building through out the stay. Our room had a faint but undeniable scent of cigarette smoke, the hotel was at full capacity and we couldn’t change rooms. The staff promptly brought up a room spray that removed the smell. Our room was clean, the jacuzzi tub looked dated but well maintained. Our refrigerator did have food and alcohol left from the guest before us, so cleaning staff should check that ...

«The bed is comfortable and our room was very nice. The only complaint I have was that breakfast is only available until 9:00 and the coffee is not good. We went to the close by Gathering House coffee shop for good coffee and a light breakfast.»

«We have stayed this hotel for the last four years for an event we attend. It is the best kept secret in the area. You feel like you are in your own private lodge away from everything. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and the price for seniors is so nice. The pool area rivals those at high end resorts. Many areas to relax and quietly read a book. The staff was so very nice both at the front desk and the restaurant. Just a top-notch visit.»
