«Check in is at 4 got there at 330 said room wasn’t ready they would text me when ready never got text or call had to go back and remind them finally got room around 5pm go up to room then key card didn’t work had go get it replaced rented a golf cart and it had problems with steering and the parking brake wouldn’t work had to take it back and was told they didn’t have other one but they come up with one it was run down but better then the first one. When we arrived we had to call and then the guy walked us to the room. He said he just shampooed the floor which was confusing as to why. «Every room is a suite, but prices vary, and the staff is young. They need a checklist to make sure each room has what they need (shampoo, cups, A/C on…) It’s Pretty around the pool and hot tub was big. I like the mile walk to town in the morning when it’s quiet and calm next to the lake. The entire island is relaxing with great restaurants, yummy perch and walleye bites at the Village Pump. I would return in a minute. Looking forward to going again.»

«The location was convenient but this hotel is definitely in need of some upgrades and maintenance. Amenities are minimal and the regular rooms are small. If it’s just for a basic stay for a short trip it’s fine but I’d be uncomfortable with a whole family for more than a night or two.»

The indoor and outdoor pools were a big hit with the kids, and the location made it easy to enjoy Cedar Point while still having a relaxing place to come back to. «We made a trip this way to visit Cedar Point. This was a very clean family friendly hotel. We stayed three nights with two adults and three kids (15,13,11). Kids enjoyed the breakfast and large spacious rooms. The beds were comfortable and it was a great experience overall. We are returning at the end of the month to visit Cedar Point again and currently finalizing the dates and thinking of booking this hotel again as we had a great stay !»
