«We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. «We had a wonderful two night stay at the Linthwaite House Hotel. Very nice and attentive staff, comfortable rooms and a beautiful location. Upon our late arrival the welcoming staff prepared sandwiches and drinks for us in the lovely lounge area even though the kitchen was closed. We tried the tasting menu which was delicious. The stay exceeded our expectations and we will definitely come again!»
