«We had a wonderful two night stay at the Linthwaite House Hotel. Very nice and attentive staff, comfortable rooms and a beautiful location. Upon our late arrival the welcoming staff prepared sandwiches and drinks for us in the lovely lounge area even though the kitchen was closed. We tried the tasting menu which was delicious. The stay exceeded our expectations and we will definitely come again!»

«Myself and my husband chose this hotel for our anniversary and it didn’t disappoint! The hotel staff upgraded our room when we arrived and wow what a treat it was! The room was beautiful and so were the views from our room. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel is a short walk in to the little town where there are plenty of restaurants, pubs and bars. The hotel over looks the boat docks so you can easily get boat tours around the lake. «Lovely quiet courtyard room - 309 - would request again for the peaceful location. We have stayed in a lake view room in the past and would pick the courtyard over it, as it means you aren’t on the main road. All the staff are friendly and helpful, from check-in, to spa, to restaurant. »

«we had a wonderful stay with our grandchildren in December, the hotel was beautiful and the seasonal decorations where truly spectacular. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and our room was fabulous with a queen size bed as well as bunk beds for the children. The dining room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean with wonderful views of the lake. Would 100% stay here again. »

«We LOVED our stay here! Our room was the “Grand Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony, Garden View” in the newer building and the attention to detail was exceptional. Loved the large comfy bed, our cozy robes, the deep bathtub and accompanying luxury toiletries and bath soaking salts. The WiFi was fast and the staff members were fantastic. It was a close walk into town and close to everything you could want to explore in the Lakes District. Very cool how the hotel provides wellies (Hunter Boots) for guests ...
