«This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. «From booking to check out everything was so easy. Communication was excellent and detailed. We spent a good bit of time hiking the nearby trails then enjoying a pint in one of the lovely pubs in town. An easy walk to a great market for those that wish to cook. It has great hiking snacks as well. Fell in love with the chicken chorizo scotch egg, it may be the perfect hiking snack. Be sure to stop by one of the many pubs for great beer and food. «Loved the lay out of property . Perfect for our family , . Close to all amenities and a fabulous walk by the River and lakes . In town lovely shops and Restaurants varying prices. Any amount of outdoor Shops , bought myself a walking jacket . Very dog friendly all over the town of Keswick. On the whole really enjoyed our stay . «The cottage is quirky with exposed wooden beams in the upstairs rooms. Suited us fine for a three night stay. Spotlessly clean and in a quiet location. The Chalet tea rooms does a very nice breakfast and is right next door. Keswick is an easy walk of about a mile.There is no village shop.»

«We stayed days at Maiden Moor in Keswick. It’s located 2 blocks from town shops and restaurants and just down the street from Booth’s, a large, well stocked grocery shop. The apartment is newly renovated and has every convenience. 2 nice bedrooms and 2 full baths with showers. It’s on a quiet street, but close to activity. We had absolutely no issues. Keswick is the ideal place to base your Lake District holiday. Large enough to have many choices, but not crawling with tourists like ...

«This was our first holiday as a family with our one year old grandson. A Christmas present for us all and we loved the house it was perfect giving space, warmth and comfort to us all. Very well equipped and close to the centre and within easy walking distance of the beautiful countryside and mountains. A couple of maintenance and cleaning glitches but minimal.
