Beautifully decorated home with expansive wraparound porch and oversized yard. Comfortably sleeps 10. Great location! Located 2 blocks from the water. Walking distance to the local bowling alley, grocery store, bakery, café, restaurants, bars, trails, parks and other attractions.

Guests will enjoy free Wi-Fi, two queen bedrooms, a large bunk room (with 2 double beds and 2 twin beds), two full bathrooms, two living rooms, a fully equipped game room, chefs kitchen, dining area, formal seating area and a three season porch. Seasonally, guests can take advantage of using an onsite grill and outdoor yard games. Additionally, the home includes many kid essentials such as toys, stroller, and pack n' play.

Ideal for families and/or small events (maximum of 20 people in attendance). Great for reunions, birthdays, baby showers, bridal parties, holiday celebrations and other gatherings.

There are 2 onsite parking spaces, along with additional (free) street parking.

Stay in Lake City
Did see a small mouse first night upstairs and purchased four mouse traps. Never caught the critter. No hand rails on outside steps and stairs going upstairs. One person was 74 and was scared on the steps. Some of the Air Conditioners were plugged into non grounded outlets which consider dangerous. Last night went upstairs to watch a movie and three times the TV/ Air Conditioner tripped the breaker so moved the event downstairs. We did however have a good family time with many great memories.

Loved our time here!

Wonderful property
Our family greatly enjoyed a long weekend at this wonderful rental. The home is beautiful and so much more spacious than we expected. The outdoor games and patio were our favorite however we also enjoyed the board games and Pac Man. We walked or biked everywhere. There is quite a bit of traffic noise from kwik trip and the main road less than one block away but it didn’t bother us. We would stay here again!

Fantastic Stay

Mixed emotions
This is an old beautiful home that we were happy to be able to use. I did have some concerns while at the home. I was not able to get the VRBO communication to work properly, probably due to my cell service carrier. After attempting that several times I texted the phone number of our host but have not heard back. There was 1 item (chair) that needed repair when we arrived. I took pictures of it and sent to my host. On Sunday while we were away from the house part of the fire pit disappeared . We were not sure if the host removed it to do some work on it or if it was stolen. This was concerning to us. We always try to take the best care of the property we stay in and leave it in the same shape we found it.

Girls 100 mile garage sale weekend
It is a beautiful house! Everything looks neat and is a warm welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed the front porch even though it was a wet and rainy weekend. Tried to light the propane fire table but could not get it to stay lit without continuing to hold the dial in. We all enjoyed the entire house.

Beautiful home with great location only 3 blocks from the water
The host was fast to respond to any inquiries. My kids affectionately called this the "Pac Man house". Great layout and beautiful woodwork throughout. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was beautiful.

Girlfriend's getaway in Lake City
Our group of 6 stayed 3 nights at this adorable Lake City home. The owners were great with communication and we had everything we needed. It is walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and the lake. We had a great time whether it was sitting around the dining room table or out on the big porch, telling stories and recounting memories. We played bean bags in the yard and even a few games of Pac Man in the upstairs game room. Highly recommended home!!

Perfect for our family!
Such a beautiful historic home full of vintage character! Great location for activities! We loved the wrap around porch, plenty of space to spread out, plus toys and games for the kiddos. (PacMan was a hit!) We made alot of memories! Owner was great to work with! Thanks for everything!! Highly recommend and already reserving again!

Beautiful, picturesque area.
Lovely remodeled vintage home with lots of space for two families traveling with kids! The game room was a fun area to be in. It was kept clean, and we felt comfortable, however, there were a few cobwebs on the steps indoors, and insects in the side entrance that we used for our empty coolers and such…not a big deal, but easy enough to avoid with a thorough cleaning. They did provide fewer “starter” amenities then we’ve seen in other rentals (coffee, tea, snacks and such), but in fairness, they are not listed. I did not bring a hair dryer along, and there was not one on the premises. I did contact the owner, who said there should be one there, but it was not, and I did have to go out and buy one as we had an event to go to. Again, not listed on the amenities section, but disappointing, all the same. I would recommend a few hooks be added to the bathrooms and bedrooms, as there is no where to hang towels or clothes while showering, or returning to your room after a shower. Also, a stool to place luggage on in the bedrooms would be great…Simple fixes :). All in all, I would recommend this property..super cute, yet spacious, and the location in beautiful Lake city could not have been better!!

Big, nice house in a great location
Had a nice, winter stay at Michelle’s house. We had a few maintenance issues upon arrival but the host was easy to reach and worked to resolve the problems in a timely manner. Overall the house was a nice place for a family stay with two full bathrooms and comfortable places for up to 10 people to sleep. There are also 2 TV/lounge areas and a nice sized kitchen. Overall, would recommend!

We were looking for a quick 3-day trip to get a nice mix of relaxing and enjoying the area and we are happy to say we got it all. Great location only a block or two away from downtown. The premises was plenty roomy for our group, very clean, plenty of spots to play board games or just chill til our next activity as well. We got what we were looking for. Thank you !

It is a charming historic house with plenty of room for a big group! Michelle has it stocked with everything you need! We enjoyed the front porch the most with coffee in the morning, happy hour in the evening. Perfect location! We were able to walk the trail along lake pepin and down town. Thank you Michelle!

Walker Wedding Survivors
The property listing doesn't do this place justice. Everywhere you look is a charming new surprise.. Professional stove, Pacman, 2 staircases, incredible woodwork, comfortable beds, new washer/dryer, beautiful windows, copious seating on the deck.. this place has it all! Our nieces were able to fulfill a lifelong dream of sharing a bunkbed. They are both in their 30s and about 6 feet tall, which added to the hilarity! Chickadee Cafe has great breakfasts and is within walking distance. We are already working on a trip to bring us all back here soon.

This is such a lovely house. Beds extremely comfortable (very important!). Location was perfect for local walking and then located near several other cute/fun towns to drive to. We relaxed on the covered porch every day and evening. We will definitely be back.

Guys golf trip
This property is great, and has tons of room to hang out and relax. Check in was easy, and Michelle was accommodating to our early arrival. Overall this is a great place for families or friends. Being close to the downtown area of bars and restaurants was also a big plus. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lake City.
