Newly renovated flat in historic city center

Updated in 2021 with a nice balance of modern and traditional styles. Located within the old city walls, steps away from a coffee shop, bakery, and many excellent bars, restaurants, and shops.

The space
Located on the ground floor of a two-story apartment with only one other unit.

The open design includes a bathroom with shower, a living area with sofa bed and TV, and a fully equipped kitchen—oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, small blender, and basic kitchen utensils.

There are two bedrooms: a large bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with a single bed and a dedicated workspace.

Other things to note
Being within the historical city center, guests must be mindful that there is the potential for noise from the surrounding bustling streets. The centrality, the proximity of restaurants and bars (one just a few doors down), as well as the movement of people along the narrow streets, may make the flat more suitable for adults or young people who enjoy the nightlife. From November to mid-March the city center is significantly quieter.

We recently installed soundproof windows and purchased a door curtain, which has made a massive difference. We no longer find we need earplugs or white noise machines but leave them for those of our guests who may be light sleepers.
