We had a very disappointing experience. The hotel was aesthetically pleasing, but the standard of service for international clients was below expectations. My husband and I stayed at GTA for 14 days. 12 of the 14 days we were provided with just 1 towel between us. We had to request for an additional towel everyday, and eventually had to complain. They only got it right on day 12.
Every time we had a shower the bathroom floor would be covered in water. For some reason the shower glass would not keep the water in the shower.
The AC always sounded as if there was a gust of wind coming from the outside.
Breakfast was only provided for 1 occupant. They claimed this was complimentary. For Expedia standards the room should be advertised as either room with breakfast or room without breakfast.
Before I travelled from the UK I had messaged the hotel via Expedia to ask for clarification on something. I never got an answer despite messaging twice. Halfway through my stay, weeks after booking I finally got a response. I could go on, but I think this is enough to justify my 2 stars. And the 2 stars are for the security personnel, a young man (staff) called Joseph Chinedu, and the fact that the hotel was aesthetically pleasing.
