Casa Rubi is a bright, stylish and thoughtfully designed villa made for comfort in every season. With two bedrooms and two full bathrooms (one ensuite), it sleeps up to 6 guests and blends modern design with cozy, home-like warmth.

Both bedrooms have beds with firm mattresses, large built-in wardrobes, ceiling fans and mosquito screens.

The ensuite master bedroom features a queen bed (160cm) plus a day bed that opens into two single beds (2 x 80cm) — ideal for children. A dedicated workspace with garden views makes remote working easy. It also includes A/C for heating and cooling.

The second bedroom has a double bed (140cm) and infrared heating.

The cozy living room includes a fireplace for cooler evenings, A/C for heating and cooling and a double sofa bed (best suited for one adult).

The dining area has a ceiling fan for guests who prefer natural airflow and a view of the ocean.

Mosquito screens throughout allow fresh breezes while keeping insects out.

High chair and baby cot available on request, making Casa Rubi family-friendly.

A washer and dryer inside the home make extended stays effortless.

Step into your sunny garden oasis, exclusively for guests, with fruit trees (figs, nectarines, oranges, mandarins, pomegranates, lemons in season), a sunny deck with loungers, hammock, outdoor shower, built-in BBQ, and shaded dining terrace — perfect for slow mornings and al-fresco dinners.

The private hot tub can be enjoyed all year round and can fit up to 4 people. 

On a sunny day you can enjoy breakfast and dinner outside even on crisper winter days.

🔑 Guest Access

Guests have full, private access to the entire main house, garden, terrace, hot tub, outdoor dining and BBQ area, as well as the gated driveway with parking for up to three cars.



Self check-in is available via lockbox for convenience and flexibility.

We respect your privacy and want you to feel completely at home. Self check-in makes arrival easy, but we're always available via phone or message if you need anything during your stay. We live nearby and are happy to assist with recommendations or questions, while giving you plenty of space to relax.

Casa Rubi is located in a residential area (with occasional passing cars) about 3 km from the center of Carvoeiro — an authentic neighborhood that gives you space to relax, while still offering easy access to beaches, restaurants, and local attractions.

From the house, guests can enjoy beautiful walks through the surrounding streets, where you'll pass impressive homes, lush gardens, forested areas, and even natural gorges. It’s a wonderful area to explore on foot, especially for nature lovers, architecture fans, or anyone who enjoys discovering the Algarve beyond the tourist spots.

Bedrooms face the garden and all windows are double glazed to ensure quieter rest, though when opened you may hear occasional road noise outdoors — a worthwhile trade-off for being just minutes from beaches, coastal walks, golf, and Carvoeiro centre.

Also:

✽ The sofa bed in the living room is best suited for children or one adult.

✽ Up to two children can also sleep in the main en-suite bedroom in a double pull out bed.

✽ A baby cot and high chair are available upon request.

✽ The second bedroom has a ceiling fan but not A/C and it is heated with an oil radiator.

✽ Fruit trees in the garden (figs, pomegranates, nectarines, citrus) are seasonal and may not be in fruit during your stay.

✽ There is a separate private annex on the property, not accessible to guests.

✽ This is not a secluded rural retreat — you may hear cars in the garden.

✽ Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.

✽ Pets are welcome only upon request and under strict rules.



✽ For monthly stays we require a security deposit to cover for the cost of utilities. Once a week garden & hot tub maintenance are included.
