Chambre bruyante, lumière de l éclairage de sécurité trop présente, pas assez de choix pour le petit-déjeuner. Personnel agréable et à l écoute de nos demandes.

Room was mostly clean. Some mould in bathroom, and very dusty skirting and sills. Bedding was clean. Staff member on check in was friendly and helpful. The other staff during my stay seemed disinterested. Breakfast is terrible. Defrosted bread rolls, sliced cheese and ham. Which there is usually none of, even when there's over an hour of breakfast to go. Yogurt left on the shelf with no cooling, and some very brown bananas. Staff would put out a few more yogurts, but there was nothing else replenished. Location is fine if you have your own transport. Groceries and a restaurant not too far away. Overall, just ok for somewhere to sleep.

Wonderful stay! The hotel felt clean and comfortable but the friendly and helpful staff stood out the most as the best part to me.

Boa localização e staff muito simpático. Roupa da cama não muito limpa e húmida. Trocaram-nos o quarto imediatamente no entanto só tinhamos uma toalha de banho e uma de rosto.

El alojamiento y el personal son correctos y amables pero la limpieza justita…Había mucha humedad en las habitaciones. Nos cambiaron a una habitación diferente porque la primera noche teníamos una cucharacha enorme en la nuestra. En la siguiente habitación comenzó a llover y habían goteras, tuve que matar un insecto cienpies enormes y habían muchas pescadillas en las cortinas. Volvimos a solicitar cambio de habitación.

We liked the property and location, staff was nice, but we could hear everything in the room next to us as if the others guests were inside our room! Very thin walls and there is a door that communicates rooms which I’m assuming that’s why it was so noisy.

Very nice room. A good value but it isn’t close to many touristy areas. There’s a good pizzeria a block up and staff were very nice.

Thought we were getting a Double bed, ended up getting a King size! Free parking on site. Free breakfast. Friendly staff and cheaper than other accommodations in the area. If we are ever in the area again and need a place to stay we wouldn't hesitate to book again! Very happy!

I liked having the breakfast. Transportation wise it is a distance to P.D. and the taxi was on the expensive for the distance.

Molto carina la struttura, con parcheggio condiviso con un negozio a fianco. La nostra camera al piano terra, a fianco la porta d ingresso e si sentiva ogni volta che qualcuno entrava con il codice o usciva. Spaziosa, ma poteva essere organizzata meglio, con un attaccapanni per le giacche per esempio. Nella camera erano presenti alcuni insetti attaccati al soffitto, non ci hanno dato particolari problemi, ma non sono belli da vedere. La colazione buona e il personale gentilissimo. Tenendo conto del fatto che in ogni caso si tratta di un ostello, ci siamo trovati bene.

Clean & Spacious Room and Private Bath
Spacious clean room with a nice shower that had glass on two sides. Really enjoyed the Juliet balcony to enjoy view to the sea. Lots of parking for our rental car and easy walk to good restaurants. I’ll look at staying here again when back in Lagoa.

I loved the charm of the old building in a traditional Portuguese style, with the recent remodeling to retain the charm but offer modern comfort. I also loved the owner who provided excellent friendly service and even gave us a free ride to a nearby fish restaurant we had asked about. This was a memorable stay for us on a paradise-like island we had known nothing about before our stay. We are hoping to return in the future. We loved this place.
