Casa Waterlily is a two-storey villa with 123m² of living space in Porches, on the Algarve's central coast.

On the ground floor, a hallway leads past a laundry closet with washing machine and dryer to the first bathroom, with shower and toilet. Opposite, the twin room is a cool, quiet spot to retreat from the afternoon sun, with two single beds. Further along the hallway, the second bedroom has a double bed, a desk area for postcards or a quiet hour with a book, its own ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet, and glass doors onto a south-east facing patio for a slow start before the day gets going. Next to it, the main bedroom opens onto the same patio, with a kingsize bed and its own ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet. All three bedrooms have their own air conditioning, so everyone can set their own temperature for the night.

Upstairs is where the villa comes into its own: an open living and kitchen area leads straight onto a south-east facing balcony, with a built-in BBQ, sea views, and plenty of seating for an evening that runs late. Inside, the living room has a fireplace for cooler nights, its own air conditioning, and the kitchen is fully equipped for however much or little cooking suits you.

Step out onto the balcony in the evening and the sea is right there waiting for you.

The entire villa is yours during your stay.

➤ Casa Waterlily works well for families and groups. Two bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom, while the twin room shares the ground-floor bathroom just across the hall. If you are travelling as separate couples who each need a private bathroom, please get in touch before booking so we can confirm this is the right fit.
➤ Kids and babies are welcome. A travel cot and highchair are available at the property.

##Neighborhood

Porches sits on a stretch of dramatic coastline in the Lagoa municipality, in the central Algarve. The white chapel of Nossa Senhora da Rocha stands on the cliffs directly above the beach of the same name, a short walk from the property, with golden sand, clear water, and a small beach bar. A tunnel through the rocks connects it to the neighbouring Praia Nova, where jet ski, kayak, and paddleboard hire are all available on the sand.

A handful of cafes, bars, and restaurants sit right next to the community, alongside its own onsite restaurant and bar. Carvoeiro, with a wider choice of restaurants, shops, and a lively marina, is a short drive away. Lagoa, the nearest larger town with supermarkets, is also reachable by car.

##Transit

A car is recommended for this location. Faro Airport is around 35 minutes by car (approx. 52km). Carvoeiro is around 10 to 15 minutes by car, and Lagoa, the nearest larger town with supermarkets, is around 10 minutes. Public transport in Porches is limited, with infrequent local buses connecting to Lagoa and Albufeira.
