«A lovely oasis in the country. Very peaceful. Lovely room and shower. Stayed 2 nights. 1st morning an abundance of snacks and fruit. 2nd morning hardly anything left. Keeping an eye on food supply would be helpful. Again 2nd day ran out of hot water in the shower. Would still recommend this location.»

«A calm, peaceful and beautiful place to temporarily escape from the city. Jana was very friendly and helpful, gave clear instructions and a warm welcoming. Super clean and also close to the nature. Highly recommended.»

«Beautfully maintained historic property with lakefront accesss. Charming and worth the stay.»

«We stopped here for our Honeymoon. The suites were spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff was so nice and so helpful. We would definitely stay here again!»

«What a beautiful place! Everything was absolutely spotless, so clean you could literally eat off the floor! The room was incredibly comfortable, and the whole experience was wonderful. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the sunrises and sunsets were simply magical. Such a special place! I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!»

«Gorgeous spot for a girls weekend or couples getaway. ✨»

«I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews on this site. Our stay at Waring House was very enjoyable. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We had dinner at the restaurant. It was very good. The meals (pickerel and tagine) were delicious, service was prompt and courteous. Breakfast was also very good- generous portions. I would definitely stay here again.»

«An older property, but the rooms were very clean AND despite the hotel being full, it was very quiet. The rooms are well sound insulated. Would definitely recommend if travelling with pets.»

«The rooms inside were clean and reasonably comfortable. However the outside of many buildings need painting and windows need much needed repairs. We stayed at the Inn and some windows had no screens and one window is rotted on the outside. This allowed unwanted creatures to visit. Earwigs and other bugs (unidentifiable) Adding hooks in the bathroom for clothes or housecoats would be helpful. The coffee maker, fridge and microwave were nicely accessible. A few of the roller blinds did not close ...

«Staff here was outstanding . Very warm and accommodating. A big shout out to Cody at the front desk who was not only warm and welcoming, but dealt with very serious car complications in our stay so efficiently and kindly.»

«No frills room that would have been fine had it not been for the heat. The room got very muggy, and the air condition was extremely loud so sleeping was not possible either way. There was also a big problem with small flies in the bathroom - they seem to get in even with the window closed. They only live a day and would die at night, but the mounds of them around the sink and bath wasn't very appealing.»
