The property is beautiful and security was stellar. My only piece of feedback and recommendation would be for there to be more clothes hangers. We had to go buy some. Additionally, there really needs to be pool towels, using the white bath towels for the pool wasn’t great. We had to wash them multiple times.

Nice house, as pictured. We only had 6 pool towels for 8 people, but we made it work. We worked with the concierge to schedule a private chef to come in the house and they were wonderful. The food was so yummy.The location is great. Just outside of town, so nice and quiet in a gated safe neighborhood and a quick ride to town. Perfect if you have a car. Uber is 3 USD and a 3 minute ride to Fortuana. Thank you!

Great views. My only complaint is I wish they had regular shower head, not the ones coming from the ceiling. Made it difficult if you did not want to wash your hair.

Perfect layout for four families

We had four families with high school kids. It was a perfect layout for being together, or getting some space away. The pool was warm and fun for the kids. It is off the main beat by about a mile which makes it relaxing and still close to activities. We would stay here again.

Lovely stay in la fortuna

We stayed with 4 families in this lovely home. We had such a good relaxing time and loved the personal private dinner that we opted and paid separately for. This is a great place for groups. 4 of the bedrooms are separated from the main house which was nice for privacy or quiet when needed. The pool was perfect for our kiddos. We arrived at night which made finding the lockbox difficult and seemed a little jammed. That was the only problem we encountered. Our host was very attentive to messages and the like.

Nothing better than this place!

The reason why I booked this house was when I saw the front view is the volcanic mountain. And seeing it in person was even more breathtaking. Really spacious and beautiful place. Every room and shared space were clean and nice. The heated pool was beautiful. Danny was really clear with our booking and check-in process. Nathalie and Antonieta (virtual concierge) were wonderful. They took care of all our activity scheduling, private chef dinner and everything else that we needed. Thanks and will come back again.

La Fortuna

la maison est confortable, bien tenue et propre! les espaces communs sont très fonctionnels, cuisine et salon. Situeé dans un quatier avec gate, c'est très sécuritaire. Une auto est nécessaire car le quartier est assez loin du centre ville. Nous avons logé 14 personnes très confortablement, avec les chambres disponibles! Les chambres sont grandes et salle de bain pour chaque chambre! La plomberie est à revoir, car le débit des douches est nettement insuffisant. Il manque des crochets dans les chambres et aussi nombre de serviettes est insuffisant pour un long séjour. La Fortuna offre un très grande variété d'activités. Tous ont adoré leur séjour.

What a view!!

Our group of 5 couples had an amazing stay in Fortuna. This house is modern, well stocked, clean and comfortable. The property managers were very communicative and helpful with prompt responses. The only downfall was the security guard at the front gate. They insisted on collecting everyone’s passport numbers which I found uneccessary. I was only willing to give my passport number as the main renter! I hope they revise their protocol to keep in convenient for the renter! My 3 stars for the check in process was strictly due to the security gate issues. The property managers were fantastic!

Perfect place for a group of friends!

My friends and I stayed here while traveling around Costa Rica, and it was perfect for the La Fortuna area. From the kitchen to the patio to the bathrooms, everything including the host was wonderful! Would highly recommend booking with Danny.

A great house and stay

We had a great stay at the property. Nice neighborhood and good views. A fun pool and great dining room table. Could have used more kitchen items when cooking for a large group like measuring cups, measuring spoons, whisk, spatula, serving plates or bowls. Also a surprise on day one - the oven didn’t work. Also would have really appreciated being able to use the laundry machines that are on-site but not available for guests to use. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

La Fortuna Escape

We were 6 couples visiting Costa Rica and we chose the Arenal view villa for three nights of our vacation. Very modern home with many amenities. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The host was very helpful in working with us to plan our stay, including sightseeing tours and a dinner at the house. The only comment is to let others know there is no air conditioning in the main part of the house (living room, dining room, kitchen) but it has ceiling fans. It was not a problem for us, but I wanted to let others know.

A beautiful home, in a secure neighborhood

We felt extremely safe being in a gated neighborhood, not to mention the home was just beautiful. We enjoyed the pool nearly every night, and took advantage of the kitchen/living room being central to the entire home where we could all be together. The bummer was that the view of the volcano was only clear for a few hours a day, mostly in the early afternoons (in May) but since we were exploring La Fortuna, we had many opportunities to see the Arenal clearly. Danny was a great host, he fixed some minor issues quickly, and was available at all times. Would highly recommend this stay for anyone traveling in a large group!

Short but fun stay at this property

We started our Costa Rica adventure with a 2 day stay at this property ...really 1.5 days after the drive from the Liberia Airport. We really liked the layout of the property with the main living space set up as a shared space and some of the bedrooms were separated set up in a U shape. The clean, modern design was very appealing, and the pool lights look great at night. The house has a nice stereo system also. The sounds of the jungle in the morning after a rain while meditating was wildly amazing! My only knock on this property was that there could have been more and better-quality towels. They were thin and not very soft. Besides that this property was great and I would recommend.

Amazing property!!

We enjoyed our time at this location, it is absolutely amazing!! Each space was clean, tidy and roomy. It was the perfect spot for our womens retreat and the hosts are very accommodating. We loved the chef services at well. I would recommend this location to anyone
