We had a very comfortable stay and would recommend the Wild Iris Inn to friends and family. The breakfast is tasty and well presented. We would stay again. Lots of free parking and a 8 minute walk to most restaurants and cute shops.

A fun spot for a getaway. La Conner is small, quaint and walkable. Wild Iris staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy and well presented. Would recommend

The Wild Iris is more or less in the same great condition as when I used to work there 20 Years ago under Casey & Susan. I decided to stay there while visiting for the tulip festival. I was disappointed that there wasn't a receptionist seemingly at all during our stay from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning. I checked myself in and out. The breakfast has also gone down in quality since the new management took over. For Easter breakfast there was nothing but intensely sweet foods. Sweet breads, sweet yogurt, sweet fruits, served with french toast. I think you should always have a savory option. They used to include scrambled eggs on the buffet. It was sad to see that the kitchen no longer does dinners, too. It used to be a really good place to eat. All things considered, the stay was still excellent, and I would still highly recommend The Wild Iris / Heron as a top choice while staying in La Conner

Hi Micah , I want to thank you for staying with us . We are The Wild Iris Inn the Heron Inn is a separate business that is not affiliated with us next store :) We do utilize a self check in process it makes it quick and clean cut for the guest , We always have someone available by dialing 0 between 8 am and 9 pm .We offer 1 daily hot special and on the breakfast bar we do have boiled eggs ,granola ,fruit , yogurt , cereal and our in house made breads . We do try and appeal to as many as we can and I do apologize that you did not enjoy breakfast . I thank you for the feedback it was super awesome of you to take your time ,that is the only way we hear what you are thinking :) We have never served dinner the old Owners did do that however it is not part of the Bed and Breakfast we do now . I am glad all in all it seems like you still enjoyed your stay , Thank you so much .

The breakfast has a self-serve buffet, but the main course is served by a wait staff. The innkeeper provides plenty of information on the restaurants in La Conner and the sights to see in Skagit Valley.

This property was really nice and great location. Easy parking and walkable to town. Staff were very nice and friendly. Great lobby and fireplace space. Rooms were very clean and set up well for what you need. The Mexican restaurant across the street was recommend and it was great too. Breakfast was unexpected I didn’t realize when I booked that it came with breakfast. It was really good and a great value for for room and breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

The Host Carl was very pleasant and helpful in guiding us to places to eat and things to see. We enjoyed Wild Iris and LaConner. Carl i have to say thise restaurants that you recommended was the best places i ever eaten at. Thanks again for the housekeeping when we put our sign on private by accident. Hopefully we will see you agin on our anniversary coming forward. God bless

We had a 3 night stay. Lots of shopping options including a coffee shop and market minutes walk away. We would ask for a more vegetarian option with their complimentary breakfast. My daughter is a vegetarian and I noticed there was another guest that was asking for vegetarian as well. Just something to think about. We had a wonderful time. Very peaceful and a very nice location. We will be back!!!

I absolutely adored my stay at the Wild Iris Inn. I booked a queen bed with a fireplace, and didn't realize that it also had a large Jacuzzi tub in the room as well. There was also a small balcony with chairs. Everything was clean. The room was modern but without losing the charm of an older building and the personal touch of a non-franchise hotel. When I went down to breakfast in the morning, the room was bright and cherry, and the staff very helpful. The cold food bar was well-stacked with a good choice of items, and the complimentary hot special was a delicious blueberry French toast with cinnamon strusel. My husband and I immediately made plans to stay here for our upcoming anniversary.

Couple getaway
We did a random search of places to stay and this place popped up. When we got there it was an easy checkin and they upgraded our room for free since the fireplace in ours had gone out. Excellent service and the breakfast was one of the best breakfast i have ever had at an inn

It was a nice stay, lovely property and very friendly staff. It may have just been the bed in our king room, but the mattress was uncomfortable and I've spent the following day very sore and it was difficult to sleep both nights. Also, the gas fireplace is charming, but requires 2 solid raps on the outside of it for it to work. Still a charming property.

The Wild Iris from the moment you checked you felt at home, beautiful decor throughout The room was very spacious and comfortable, exceptionally clean and during our stay there was no noise or disturbances from other guest. The outdoor jacuzzi was fantastic, with added privacy. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. The dining room staff was very attentive and the food selection was very good offering you a choice of hot or cold.

The Wild Iris is our go to spot for an overnight stay in the area. The rooms, bedding, linens, etc are clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast and fresh baked goods are much appreciated.

Get away trip
I was very happy with the quiet location that was still easily walkable to the cute shops down by the water. They gave us an early check in & were so genuinely friendly & kind. The room was like the photo- super cozy but bigger than I thought. The private hot tub on the deck was amazing. The breakfast was delicious I just wish I had more stomach room to have tried more of the yummy house-made baking. The directions for the best walk and restaurant recommendations were awesome- you don’t get an experience like this from a big chain hotel. We will return.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. She had so many recommendations of what to see and do in town. The town is very quiet, I didn't hear any traffic from the room at all. The hotel doesn't allow children, which may be a deal breaker for some, but when you have been traveling all day with not much sleep, it was much appreciated to have an uninterrupted good nights sleep. The rooms are a little small but all we needed for a one night stay for two people. Bed was very comfy and TV show options were good. I would definitely stay here again.
