Nicely remodeled cabin on private 1 acre lot surrounded by woods. Just minutes from Lanse Bay with public boat launch, snowmobile/ orv trail is at the end of the street, Casino is 10 minutes away in Baraga. Many waterfalls in the area. Mountain View’s from the driveway. Whether your going fishing, to the beach, the casino, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling, hiking, or just sight seeing. There is plenty to do here.

Cozy Cabin in the woods

Clean and very comfortable!
Excellent response time from Chad on my questions. Very clean. Nice extras such as an ice maker, coffee/sugar, spices, cooking oils, etc. Plenty of clean towels for all 4 of us. Sure wish the weather would have cooperated so we could have enjoyed the fire pit and grill. Otherwise, everything was perfect, excellent location and easy to find!!

We chose this location because it was central to the areas we wanted to visit in the Upper Peninsula. The house was very clean upon arrival. The amenities, such as soaps/lotions in the bathroom and snacks, were thoughtful touches. The check-in process was easy.

FALSE PROPERTY DESCRIPTION- YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED
The issue we had was that we chose this property based on the description. Most photos of lakes, falls, rivers, etc are captioned as "property grounds" We brought fishing stuff and a fourwheeler to enjoy the ground we thought we rented. We learned from the neighbors that the pictures aren't yours from the property. Imagine our disappointment 😞 Another reason we chose your property was for the garage parking since we brought the four-wheeled and fishing gear and needed to store it safely. The garage was not utilizable as described for the "parking" section in the Vrbo app. There was a vehicle in there, GARBAGE everywhere and clutter. No room for anything else. The cleaning fee was especially excessive considering the note found on the table of what to do prior to check out. (You will be required to wash bedding, have all dishes clean, garbage taken out, etc. On the app, nothing was said of it. However, with that being said, I understand how risky it is to let stranger stay at your place and for them to not be respectful. I just didnt understand then why it wouldn't have been a refundable fee depending on condition at checkout. Listing for "property type" says mountain. The description also says mountain views from driveway-and the picture shows mount Arvon. No Mountains, no rivers, no water at all!! Owners have not responded to VRBO or us for a refund or to settle matters 3+ weeks later. Small town people of L'Anse don't recommend this place to people. That says alot!

Very comfortable and well equipped
Nicely furnished cabin with lots of comfortable seating in the main living area, roomy bedrooms with multiple closets, and a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Private, with no close neighbors, but still conveniently located not far off US-41.

Peace and Tranquility
We enjoyed our stay, we were in the area for our grandson's wedding. The house was very clean, comfortable. It was nice to sit and relax in the quietness and solitude. I was enjoying my morning coffee and looked out the window and saw a doe and her fawn grazing under the trees. I would recommend this place to others.

Wonderful place
The cabin was spacious, comfortable and clean with all the amenities. The air condioning was a nice edition. It was more humid this summer in the upper peninsula than usual. The Wi-Fi worked great as phone signals are sketchy in the area. The large yard was well kept. Perfect for Frisbee and yard games. It had an awesome fire pit, which we enjoyed nightly. The owner was friendly and Tim the property manager lived nearby. He was very friendly and accommodating. L'Anse is very close and has all the basic necessities. The cabin's location is close enough to day trip to all kinds of unique waterfalls, Point Abbaye, the mouth of the Huron river, Porcupine Mountains, Marquette, and the splendid Keweenaw Peninsula. I had some very cherished experiences with my son. Thanks for providing this place. A blender would be a nice edition to the kitchen for smoothies and a guest log book so everyone can share their experiences and local attractions. I would definitely return to this cabin and recommend it to others.

Great place, Incidents with wasps/yellow jackets and no way to get in contact with owners. No phone number or email listed on premises. No emergency contact. No direct email through the VRBO communications. I have never experienced this.

The house was clean, comfortable, and suited our needs. Nice quiet location with a great view of the night sky. The property is within a 5-minute drive of a beautiful waterfall. Property owners are pleasant and easy to work with. Would stay here again.

L'anse rental home
Roomy 2 bedroom single bath home on large lot, located on quiet street a couple miles from town. Older home but updated paint and decor. Nicely redone bathroom. Solar lights on large deck off front of home were a nice touch. Expansive yard bordered by wooded area made for relaxing privacy while enjoying the fire ring at night. Owner easy to reach and left all the basics for a pleasant stay.

Snowmobile trip 2023
We stayed here to go snowmobiling..the property was very clean and had everything we needed.The trail is at the end of the road,and pretty easy access to great riding.10 inches of snow fell overnight,and driveway was plowed and cleared twice while we were there,and made it easy to get our trailer out..had to change our dates and homeowner Chad was very accomadating.

Great place to stay
We were here almost two weeks. Cabin is on a quiet road and has ample parking. Very close to L'anse for any shopping needs. It is a comfortable and spacious cabin. It was well stocked with paper products, cleaning supplies, and kitchen utensils. Plenty of towels and bedding. Large capacity washer and dryer with detergent was a plus. Owner is easy to converse with and quick to respond. Absolutely no issues with this place. Highly recommend it.
