«This is a very nice hotel! My only complaint is that I didn’t plan to stay two nights instead of just one here on our road trip. It’s modern, beautiful, clean and comfortable. Luxury at an affordable price. We especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We always try to stay at hotels that offer a breakfast and the fare is usually pretty good. «The stairs and deck going over the sand dune are a mess. The handicap ramp has at least six inches of sand on the turns and the stairs down to the beach are almost totally covered with sand. The deck at the top has two orange cones because there is a hole in the deck. It is Memorial Day weekend and the start of summer so I would think out door maintenance would be much better than it was. Our deck definitely needed the railings and ceiling sanded and painted. «The first thing we noticed was how friendly and welcoming the hotel employees were. Honestly, that was a very nice surprise. Our room and bathroom were both very clean and spacious. There was a definite modern feel to the room that we were not used to, but still mostly met our needs. We did wish there were a couple of comfy chairs for lounging about in the room.
