What an absolute gem of a boutique hotel. Tried it as our usual preference in Durban North was full. Great set up with some amazing views of the ocean. Wonderful for couples or business layovers. Service was exemplary.

Views on the photos are great, but my room looked out onto a parking lot... Not ideal. Friendly staff, central location, good breakfast. Wifi was a bit slow. TV quality was poor.

Hidden Gem.
What a fabulous place. Great location amazing view, fabulous staff that were pleasant and helpful. Didn’t eat there but the restaurant looked really good. Will definitely return for a longer stay. You can not go wrong. A hidden Gem.

An intimate hotel
We had a nice comfortable sea view room. The people was friendly and the service excellent. We really enjoyed the fine dining, however it might not be in everybody's taste and is a bit expensive.

Beautiful hotel
Great hotel, great food with majestic views. A ways from the action in Durban but a cab ride gets you there. Clean lines and zen decor give you a sense of calm the min. you walk in the door to friendly greetings. Nice fluffy bed and turn down service are unmatched. Try the gypsy toast for breakfast.

Ein sehr ansprechend ausgestattetesund gepflegtes kleines Hotel, mit wunderschönen Blick auf die Küste und Durban- Goldenmile. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend, der Service an Reception und im Service sehr freundlich, sorgfältig und flexibel. Die nähe zu Umhlanga Rocks und zum Airport sind weitere Vorteile.

Schönes, mit viel Geschmack eingerichtetes Hotel
Das Hotel ist nicht sehr groß , nicht überlaufen, man füllt sich sehr wohl dort. Ist modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber , hat aufmerksames und nettes Personal , das Frühstücksbuffet ist nicht sehr üppig, aber man kann dazu aus der Speisekarte warmes Frühstück dazu bestellen. Das Schwimmbecken ist zwar sehr hübsch, aber eigentlich nicht zum Schwimmen da, weil es nur 5-6 m lang ist. In der Nähe ( 2 Autominuten oder 13 min zu Fuß) befindet sich aber ein öffentliches Schwimmbad , der Eintritt kostet 7 Rand und bis 09:00 früh und nach 17:00 ist kostenlos. Zum Strand sind es ein Paar Autominuten, aber die Wellen sind so hoch , dass man praktisch nicht schwimmen kann, es ist sogar verboten. Lediglich in Durban south beach haben wir einige markierte Stellen gesehen mit Aufsichtspersonal, wo man baden konnte. Wir waren zum Golfen da, Top-Plätze, sehr günstig- das günstigste Golfland , in dem wir bis jetzt waren! South Afrika hat uns im Allgemeinen sehr angenehm überrascht, es waren wenig Touristen da, keine Hektik , merkt man schon am Flughafen, ruhig und sehr sauber überall- wir fahren auf jeden Fall noch mal hin!

Quiet neighberhood. Far from the beach. Ideal for business but would not recommend it for family with young children. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

a little far from ANYWHERE. although everyone said be careful, with a bit of difficulty - l walked to nearby shops (very limited) and back again. otherwise it was a good place for what l have paid for.

Nice and no more
It was a tiny bed, twin and not king as suggested by expedia for the option we chose. The room had only shower and no bath, and the shower head was broken and had a painful stream of water. The food was good and the free parking. But entering the hotel was a bit tricky without making a traffic violation every time we wanted to drive in. The road has a full white line that it's forbidden to cross between lanes.

Road trip en ZA avec donc un stop a Durban, comme beaucoup de ville ici centre-ville délabré Durban n'échappe pas à la régle. L'hotel est excentré du centre ville mais c'est une excellente chose ! L'hotel n'est jamais un 4*. La clim dans la chambre reveillerai un mort, la nourriture moyenne et les finitions de l'hotel sont encore une fois moyenne. Au niveau service, vous arrivez le valet ouvre la grille sans se lever et ne vient pas dire bonjour n'y prendre les bagages ? Aprés 4 A/R il se reveille... Nous avions une chambre executive vue mer, c'est vraiment le gros + de l'hotel vue dégagée sur la mer, les pavillons avoisinants et la piscine. Ne surtout pas prendre les chambres moins chere car elles sont avec vue route (15m d'une nationale) et parking. Les balcons/ terrasse ne sont pas privatif donc n'importe qui peu débarqué devant votre chambre avec sa chaise pour profiter de la vue que vous avez payé plus chere... Fort désagréable. Insonorisation général encore une fois médiocre. Pas déconseillé, mais pas recommandé non plus ! Trop chere pour ses prestations.

Endless comforts.....
Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects our stay from beginning to end. Although the hotel was quiet throughout our stay we enjoyed the attention to detail and courtesy shown by the staff and management.
