Établissement bien décorer ambiance très Zen, joli jardin et plantes autour de la piscine et des chambres. La chambre Puteri est grande, bien aménagée tout en bois donc ca grince un peu... elle donne sur une terrasse très agreable sur la nature. La restauration est de bonne qualité et goûteuses mais vous n'êtes pas dans un concept hotel mais plutôt un guest house haut de gamme donc le service est un peu compliqué pour la serveuse et le serveur qui court en permanence et pour gerer le bar et pour les requetes des clients. Aussi c'était compliqué pour eux de refaire la clé de notre chambre perdu par le client precedant donc beaucoup de tracasseries pour nous de constament tout planquer et demander de fermer et d'ouvrire la chambre par le personne, ce sont les seuls petits embêtements de notre sejour de 3 nuits

Lovely
This beautiful retreat away from the city offers tranquility for the weary traveler. The food and bar are great as well as the pool and grounds. Be aware that there is a mosque just down the toad that performs prayers over the loudspeaker starting around 5am.

Clean, comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Santubong area. Diligent and helpful staff. Food is very much on the average side: not bad but not remarkable, either.

Great start to holiday
Lovely boutique hotel with attentive staff. A very relaxing place. It is out of Kuching but staff arrange transport and outings.

Nice hotel out of town and close to nature
This was my second visit, and I love this hotel. Its out of town, close to nature, the layout with the pool and resting areas is brilliant. Food is really good. Just a couple things to consider, you're a little out in the middle of nowhere, there is a shuttle into Kuching you can take for 20 ringgit and they lend you bicycles for short distances (the start of mount Santubong mountain trek - wouldnt recommend going by bike before the hike though!!) ). Trying to get a grab once you're there is difficult. Kitchen closes at 8:30pm for dinner and you have to pre-order by 5pm, we arrived late and there was no food, we should have checked before, but there was nothing the hotel could offer except a tube of pringles. Finally, since my last visit 3 years ago, they've built cement sea front so its not as beautiful and natural and there is not really any more beach in front of the hotel, which is a shame (you couldn't swim anyways because of crocodiles, but you can go for a nice walk or stroll on the beach anymore)

Place to relax and unwind
Very nice qiet place to stay, staff excellent, nearby beach blocked off with large sea defences but easy to walk around if you want access. Great place to go if you want a quiet few days.

A good place to relax
Nice kampung style village, good for relaxing. However, nothing to do there except swimming. Need to find ur own activity.

Beautiful quiet hotel in Santubong, very calm and peaceful. Careful, you need to wait at least 30 minutes if you want to book a cab, apprx. 40 minutes away by car from Kuching. The restaurant of the hotel is really good, you should definitely try (must book before 5PM/6PM). Poor wifi and 3G/4G connection.

Beautiful place with a relaxed vibe
Great place to relax if you just want to unwind. Quiet and peaceful, except for when rowdy guests check in. Breakfast provided with a choice between an English breakfast (hash brown, eggs, piece of beef bacon, one grilled tomato and two chicken sausages) or pancakes with yoghurt. Bathroom is neat (bug free) and clean. Enough floor rugs. Towels are clean. Staff are pleasant and approachable. Room got very very hot in the afternoon, but this could be because of the wooden structure. The air cond did not seem to function in the hot afternoon - that would be a good time to use the pool I suppose, but it got cold again in the evening so it was all good.

Very quiet and peaceful, hidden away, lovely pool setting. You need transport to visit anywhere around, it is about 30 minutes drive from Kuching. Comfortable, clean, the staff are really nice.

Great hotel off the beaten track
Off the beaten path but very relaxing and peaceful. The service is outstanding, and the food is excellent. A great base for tours in the area; I highly recommend the Fairy Caves and the Semenggoh Nature Reserve to see the orangutans. The Sarawak Cultural Village is worth a visit as well. The beach is not great, but the pool is; the water is not too cold or warm or over-chlorinated, so it is very comfortable. Lots of cozy lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxation. It is very close to a mosque, so you will hear the call to prayer five times a day. Not a bother but the first one is at 5:30 am.

Your own little village!
I loved our stay at the Village House! First, just to make it clear, the Village House is NOT in the actual city of Kuching. It’s in Santubong Village, which I believe was about a 30 minute cab ride from Kuching. I didn’t experience much of Kuching, but I can tell you that being outside of the city felt very nice to my girlfriend and I. As we arrived during low season, my girlfriend and I had this wonderful little place virtually to ourselves. The rooms are not large and somewhat basic, but they were still comfortable. If you are a late starter or like to lounge in your room during the day, the rooms do get quite hot. A better option is to read, work, or internet surf by the pool and take an occasional dip to keep cool. The pool….beautiful. It’s not huge so I am unsure what it is like in high season, but my girlfriend and I shared some wonderful experiences there, including taking a swim during a tropical rainstorm. The design of the property is wonderful and it really does give you a feel that you are in your own village. It is well maintained and cared after by the staff. Staff was VERY accommodating although we can be a bit demanding! Location is actually very good and you are CLOSER to many of Sarawak's attractions than you would be in Kuching.

Nice hotel but noting outside in the area
We had a Rajah Room, very nice but hotel surroundings where you Can walk and do something else than stay at the hotel do NOT exist. The Bech 100 m away do not exist as construction works for a Wall preventing the water flooding the area is beeing erected for the moment. The beach will be Gone in this area. The pool did we not use as it looked quite dirty at the time we were there (9 nights) but the hotel was working on the problem during our time there and looked quite OK when we left. Very good cheif and food. WiFi at rooms do not exist but works very limited in restaurant area. Nice staff

Als jd van rust houdt is dit de ideale plek!
Ondanks dat het hotel wat ver (30min) van Kuching ligt en je dus afhankelijk bent van een taxi is het echt een prachtige plek om uit te rusten en vanuit hier diverse excursies te ondernemen. Er zijn verder geen fasciliteiten behalve het zwembad.

Ein tolles Hotel, nettes Personal und gutes Essen. Allerdings ist die öffentliche Anbindung nicht wirklich gut und man kommt nur mit shuttlebus oder Taxi weg.

What an amazing place...want to live here forever...the staff truly make this hotel perfect, especially Flora....our suite was so large and welcoming...food great and a good choice of wines...also a fantastic well stocked bar...plenty of day trips can be booked from the hotel...it is a ways from Kuching but taxi or shuttle readily available...am booking for next year at world music festival time...stay here you won't regret it..

Friendly staff, cosy and clean environment, quite isolated surrounding. Friendly staffs.. Very relaxing. Download side is their toilet drainage system not good. Every time flash the toilet, smell come out and enter the room. Apart from that, it is a good place for those want to free out their mind from busy life..

Wir haben dort nach unserer Malaysia Reise ein paar Tage entspannen wollen und genau das auch geschafft. Die Anlage ist wie beschrieben, eine kleine Oase zum Relaxen. Allerdings findet man in der näheren Umgebung keine alternativen Restaurants oder sonstige Aktivitäten. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist geschmacklich gut aber für Malaysia eher teuer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Kleinschalig en relaxed
Het personeel is fantastisch. Het is een klein hotel met eigen regeltjes. Het leuke van dit hotel is dat je snel contact maakt met de andere gasten. Het eten is goed en het zwembad heerlijk. Het enige nadeel is het feit dat het afgelegen ligt en ercwerkelijk niets in de buurt is.

Zeer goed bevallen
Een en al rust wat er heerst in dit kleinschalige hotel. Het heeft mooie comfortabele kamers en zeer goed eten. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. 1 klein nadeeltje is dat het buiten de stad ligt zodat je voor eventuele uitstapjes eerst even met de taxi of shuttlebus moet. Verder perfect.
